We went to this karaoke bar on a Friday night, and there wasn’t a large crowd, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. We ended up having a lot of fun overall. We did not get food so no rating for that. Bathroom was very clean, which we appreciated.
One thing we noticed was that some people were signing up back to back, which made the wait longer for others who hadn’t had a chance to sing yet. It would’ve been better if there was more of a rotation to give everyone a fair shot.
A bigger letdown was the DJ situation. We were told a DJ would be coming out at midnight, so we decided to stay and see what that would be like. By 12:30, there was still no DJ, and staff didn’t seem sure about the timing. We wish it had been clear that midnight wasn’t a firm start time—we probably would’ve just left earlier.
Also, just a heads-up: this isn’t really an arcade. The only games available were darts and a punching game. So if you’re expecting a wider game selection, this may not be the place.
All in all, we had a good time and would consider coming back—just with adjusted...
Read morewell, wanted to go out to a karaoke place while on vacation… had no idea there was a dress code until we already arrived. would have liked to know ahead of time. wish that something on your google stated there is a dress code. along with that, the dress code is very ambiguous. “no revealing clothing,” what is considered revealing? “no baggy pants, no white tshirts, no flip flops” and this isn’t even all of it. maybe put a sign out of what people CAN wear since there’s so much they can’t. mind you, it’s literally a karaoke bar and arcade that is for adults only (opens at 8pm to 3am). may i just ask what you’d like for your customers to wear? i’m assuming dresses for women? oh but not too short a dress!
i will say it does look cool from the outside. just sad to have wasted a 20 minute uber to a place we...
Read moreWell we WANTED to go here. Had the hardest time trying to find the place. None of the signs had the name Hibas so we parked in the parking lot and walked around until we found it. The place was tucked back at the end of the street in the dark with no lit sign above the door. I’m surprised we found it. Got there at almost 9pm and not a soul was in the place. The sign at the front door listed the dress code - yes dress code for a karaoke place. They are obviously trying to be a much bougier type of establishment but you’re by the beach AND NO FLIP FLOPS ALLOWED??? Like what??? So if the place HAD had people in it, we still would have had to find somewhere else to go. It’s really too bad. The place has a ton of potential. Very cool looking. At least from the view through the...
