Walked in and was hounded at the door so fast I couldnt even think of my name to sign the guest book. Then proceeding onto the next room we seemed to have bothered the employees by our presence. I love history and this town and was interested in learning about it however the tone and mere demeanor of the woman towards me and my husband was as if she was looking down her nose at us. Our kids were also looking forward to the experience but the whole atmosphere was hostile not inviting welcoming or warm. Our family of four left disappointed and frustrated. I was really looking forward towards it because I am a nerd oh and it is my birthday. We were celebrating. Thanks gulf shores museum for making us feel out of place unwanted and just plan bad.
