we go to Surf Style every time we are traveling down this way. This was one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had in general !! everyone working there was extremely rude. No smiles and just terrible energy.. We tried talking to a lady when we walked in and she completely ignored us and walked a whole different way. They were talking and laughing amongst themselves but very rude and barely said anything at all when we try talking to them or asking for help..We spent well over $100 in there and none of our shirts fit so we went in and tried to get a refund, nope! they said we had to just swap them out.. so we tried swapping them out but they charged us again and we left with less shirts then we returned, and they were all the same price !!! We didn’t even notice two of the shirts have lines of fading in them until we left. Even through this we were still being kind and saying thank you and apologizing many times for the hassle only to get zero response !! never going here again! do not waste your money here!! unnecessary rudeness! I went upstairs, looked all over, couldn’t find them. Asked an employee upstairs, and she directed me to another employee. Asked another employee upstairs and she couldn’t help me because she didn’t speak English. Went back downstairs, asked another employee. She said all kids stuff is upstairs. I told her I’d just come from upstairs and didn’t see any, and asked if she could help me find them. She just muttered “upstairs” again and turned her back. Dressing room person took of as my daughter came up, finally got someone back and the lady was inconvenienced by my wife and daughter trying to rehang the items and give you the item tag#5 you refused to take the cling and made them lay it down and then you picked it up.
The cashier didn’t not need to be the “face” of the store as customers saw her last in the way out. Definitely thought she was better than the paying customers.
