Dollar General — Attraction in Gulfport

This place is completely and totally unacceptable the way that the stuff is always in the aisles and in the carts, and the way that they treat customers. I am from this area and me and my best friend shop at this place on a normal 2 to 3 times a week spending almost $200 we get groceries from there cleaning supplies sometimes we get our clothes boxers socks they have everything in here they have the best prices on cat food and cat litter that you can find anywhere including dog food and dog litter, their baby selection is nice and very affordable, but when they see you with a cart that's almost full and it's about closing time they might tend to look at you and say by 10:00 so closing because they don't want to have to stay a couple of minutes after counting your stuff out of basket. Also the staff is very judgmental and will make your shopping experience go as judgment is passed I was called up there to help out my best friend and they were all standing in a group following her around the aisles when I came in the store picking at her and making fun of her and accusing her of stuffing stuff in her cat bag which...

There's one lady that works there who's very nice, I think she's the manager. Super friendly and welcoming. I like her a lot. Other than that, terrible. Everyone is rude and it is very clear that they're not happy working there. The GM of the store (I believe he is)...is rude. Don't try to smell fabreeze before you spend $5. God forbid😒 It's not just the employees. There is always boxes EVERYWHERE! You literally cannot walk through with a cart(if they have one available haha). The other customers in there make it unpleasant as well. I actually almost got in a fight one time over a girl cutting me in line and I hesitated but spoke up about it. The employee of course didn't stop her or speak up. They were either friends or he was afraid he would become the target. It was ridiculous. I'm a thirty-two-year-old mom of two. Definitely NOT going to Dollar General for a fight. Long story short, if I'm not planning on grabbing an Epsom salt or something super quick, I go pretty far out of my way to visit another...

Do NOT waste your hard earned money here! My friend was accused of stealing simply because she brought her own bag so not to use plastic,and the cashier called the police however when my friend paid for everything,the cashier said to the police"my mistake" . my friend left in tears,shaken and embarrassed! I was also injured in the store due to huge metal carts full of boxes full of merchandise which none of the whole 3 employees found more important than sitting on their phones thewhole time i was in there. And when i called to report this incident- i was told i would receive a call back, that was 2 months ago! No call back yet and no improvements in the stores condition nor it's employees! Disgusting!
