Gulfport Beach, MS — Attraction in Gulfport

The kids had an absolute blast!!

Something to note is that we went out pretty far and it didn’t go above our knees. It would be perfect for small children because of that though.

The sand is beautiful and the kids had so much fun playing in the sand! The kids were the most excited about finding a hermit crab!!

We did not see any jellyfish thankfully, but I have read several reviews saying they saw them so watch out.

The part of the beach we were on there were no trash cans so bring something to put your trash in.

Very nice. No garbage around. Water looked pretty clean. Good place to stop & park for a quick look. Or to take a few pictures. I wouldn't get in the water here for sure. I would go further down the beach if that's what you want to do. We mostly needed to stretch our legs after hours of driving. And figure out a place to eat. It was perfect for this. Seeing the boats docked was cool too. I didn't see a restroom anywhere which was...

Several things to note about this beach. If you have an 8 and 10 year old daughter that want to go swimming in the waves, this is not the beach for you. We walked out about 1/4 of a mile and still didn't get up to our waists.

Now, if you want to lay out in the sun, make sand castles, and just relax, it's perfect! Also, if you have little ones (2-3 year old), it's the perfect place. We did not see any jellyfish...
