This establishment has the greatest hospitality that I have ever experienced!
From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with 2 authentic, welcoming smiles, laced with a simple compliment, followed by prompt direction to the bar to pick up my to-go order.
The young man went to check on it immediately, and the young woman kindly offered me a beverage. While waiting, I witnessed sufficient, healthy, and respectable communication between the bartenders, servers and a mixed variety of the FOH staff all checking on one another with utmost respect, and grace.
I know that they must have had an overwhelming night on this Saturday-before-Christmas: I could see the energy drained from their minds and bodies, yet somehow, they kept an exceptional attitude while providing myself and all others with selflessness that refreshed my mind and spirit in ways nobody could have known I needed.
When I called the restaurant to express my gratitude, I unsurprisingly was treated with yet another beaming personality over the phone from Sydney, the manager on duty.
These people are truly superheroes, y’all, conquering their own emotions on the busiest (and slowest) nights for the greater good of love and service despite not always receiving fair compensation/appreciation.
It is times like these that don’t get acknowledged enough in this industry, and while I’m sure there are flaws; this staff is doing everything right, from what I was able to witness.
I can confidently say that I have not seen, nor had the pleasure of working with a team/work family of this degree in an incredibly long time, or possibly ever before.
The smallest details go the longest way to those who care enough to pay attention. You never know who is watching. I wish I could afford to give all of you $10 million so you can go make real changes in the world that we need so desperately today, but I hope these words provide more value to your life than a dollar ever could.
I trust that you will accomplish incredible tasks, which will provide you infinite financial and mental wealth eventually, if you maintain this level of selflessness and generosity for your fellow patron and neighbor.
I would eat every meal surrounded by this energy, if I could afford to.
“Thank you” is not enough to express my gratitude, I will be back!
Blessings, and...
Read moreI'm going to tell you A Tale of Two Cities one patio 44 Gulfport one patio 44 Biloxi. Biloxi was an amazing experience my wife and I ate there on a very special occasion and every aspect of it was great!!! The atmosphere the food the service we raved and raved about it, sad to say that Patio 44 in Gulfport was just completely the opposite. We showed up with reservations on Easter Sunday after church with some guests and then my sister and her friend wanted to come along. So we showed up at the counter and asked can we manage to squeeze six of us in on a bench table with a few of those empty chairs all around. The manager/assistant manager or Hostess whoever she was (we never managed to find out) numerous times told us there was no way that two extra guests could be added, that all of the tables and chairs around us were reserved. So much to the embarrassment of my sister and her really nice friend, who probably doesn't get to eat at places like this very often. They wound up having to leave in front of everbody, (including a few of the more sympathetic wait staff ),so we ate our Easter brunch and to our chagrin, the seats and tables all around us never filled they remain empty the entire time. When the food did come, the biscuits that I got with the brunch were way too thick and dry, with not near enough gravy to cover them, Each of us wound up feeling very dissatisfied with each of our plates. Our waitress was fine and she did as good a job this could have been done but overall it was a really terrible experience and I was so embarrassed for my family and her friend. What should have been a wonderful Easter brunch turned into a sad deal where I could not explain or Justify to my sister and her friend something that there was no excuses for. bad bad business. Hopefully, they can turn it around, but we'll make that extra drive to go to the Biloxi patio 44 before we ever...
Read moreFirst time visiting this place for my Niece birthday dinner. The establishment itself is beautiful, wonderful atmosphere, we ate on the patio. Our server was a trainee and Madison was her trainer. It took while for us to receive our drink and food order, that was fine because the family was enjoying each other's company. The food finally came, they both asked if everything was okay, most replied yes. We started to eat, about 5-10 minutes in, the checks were brought out and we were asked if we needed to go boxes. No one had finished their plate, dessert was not offered. Just brought out the tickets and laid them on the table. As we talked among ourselves about this and they knew that we were upset. Madison blamed the trainee and of course the trainee blamed Madison for the tickets being brought out so soon. We packed up what food we wanted, paid our checks; which took Madison longer to bring back the change than it did to bring the tickets out to us. Then Madison gave the wrong person the wrong change and ticket. While still apologizing, but the damage had been done as far as I was concerned. My bill for my husband and I totaled $154.00, of which Madison awarded herself a tip in the amount of $23.40, for food that we did not finish at this establishment. This situation ruined my whole experience with this establishment and my Niece birthday dinner. We continued our celebration with drinks at another bar with a waitress who did not rush us out of their establishment. I guess they had a one drink maximum, because that was all everyone had because the tickets were brought out before we could order a...
