So this was the very 1st. time that we came here because everyone always talked about it.. But what a dissatisfaction n disappointment this was.. Paying $10 for adults n $5 for kids it's just not worth it ever again, it's too much for u having to walk to see lights.. they should do $3 kids 12 yrs n under, kids under 5yrs old FREE n charge $5 per Adult.. especially if ur going to charade an arm n a leg for everything else there.. Also they don't give refunds, we heard a few people saying that they bought tickets for other people but they wont be able to come n asking to get reimburse n they told them all sales.are final.. n they couldn't even get tickets for another day.. yeah the lights are beautiful n so is the music.. But that's it!! EVERYTHING ELSE NOT WORTH IT.!!! They sell stuff their like a carnival do, way to expensive n not good quality or enough for what ur paying for.. They say u can see Santa n take pictures.. well that charge for everything n the picture is not worth it.. you can go ELSE WHERE n get a better Santa picture for less... Wow this is just NOT WORTH UR $$$$ OR ATTENTION!!!!! NEVER again will we return to this.. n yeah it's nice because of the lights BUT THAT'S IT!!!! That's why they got stars.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU SPEN UR MONEY ON SOMETHING LIKE THIS WHEN U CAN GO TO MOBILE N GET A BETTER LIGHT SHOW FOR LESS!!!!! I had my friends n family ask me about it n I told them all its JUST NOT WORTH IT!!!!! We have block parties in our neighborhoods n this is one of those things we talked about.. And everyone that knows me agreed.. It's Sad really, because the Coast has nothing really nice for families to do n people will drive out of town for better things.. this doesn't grow MS Coast.. This just makes people go somewhere else... I KNOW WE...

I personally have not been to the harbor, lights festival! I have heard, and been told that it is absolutely beautiful! And I am sure that it is! My question is, it is to my understanding, that the light, and the displays was in the millions of dollars when it was purchased, even in one of the Coast casinos paid for almost half of it. Then one year someone stole a lot of the display out of a storage unit. That had to be replaced even with insurance and a deductible that was still a lot of money that had to be put out again! When I ask if the display is breaking, even or making a profit, no one wants to give me that information! It’s almost like the aquarium across the street from it. It’s hard to find out if it’s making a profit or breaking even? But it’s all nice and pretty. And it’s just tax dollars. I have to go get my car aligned. Every time I come down to come see the lights or the aquarium! I can remember if we would just pass gaming we would have the best roads! If we put the harbor lights up, we could have the best roads! If we started doing a state lottery, we would never see a pothole ever again! “A little off the top” ...

We had a pretty good time there. I would suggest making signs to direct people to the different areas. We missed the free pics with Santa because we didn't know he was back there. We could see the trampoline bungee thing, which my son loves. We didn't want him to see it because it would've cost anther $10 for each child to go. We have 3. We paid $50 just to walk in the gate. Then of course they wanted to get on the rides which were exhorbitantly price. $1 per ticket with each ride taking 4 tickets each. That's $20 extra just for the family to ride the Ferris wheel. We also let them ride the little planes. With entrance, the 2 rides, & 3 shared hot chocolates, we spent $100. That's crazy to walk around & see lights. It was cute & a few good holiday memories were made. Perhaps they should consider making bands available for pay one price rides & make entrance cheaper, since they know people will but more...
