Pulled up to this store today to grab a couple of things. Before I could exit my vehicle the manager comes out asking if I could back up and park “correctly”. My tire was on the white line. That wasn’t a problem, but the problem was before I could even react or say anything she then proceeded to say “that’s okay you can stay and the police will give you a ticket” and goes back in the store. The store wasn’t busy because all 3 employees including her were just standing around with hands in their pockets looking bored. In this economy where major 40+year established stores are closing it’s not smart to run business off. I took my money and got the same product at five below where customer service was on point. I won’t be returning to pop shelf in the future and I advise spending your money elsewhere where it’s valued. Calling the police over a parking space? Before I even had time to react?! Management really does...
Read moreI have been a fan of this store since its arrival to Gulfport. Today, that all changed. Went in as usual with my children. They were trying out one of the pens near the front, where there is paper that says “try me”. The worker there, male, proceeds to come up to me and my children and ask if they intend to buy any pens. If they aren’t planning to buy a pen, they need to stop using them, because they are using all the ink, and that is “considered stealing”. I told my children to cap the pen they were trying, and to move along. Did my children open several pens/markers? No, they only opened one, but I guess it was the amount of time they were “trying” the pen that could be considered stealing. So patrons beware, if you try those pens and/or markers, it could be...
Read moreUpon arrival for my first visit, I was impressed with how bright and clean the store looked. Found some items and proceeded to the self checkout, and things went from good, to bad, to worse! The checkout screen instructed me to register on a website, and when I was proceeding too slowly, a staff member approached. Rather than helping, he was arrogant, condescending, self-important, and an all around jerk! He repeatedly barked orders at me to download an app onto my phone, as if the transaction could not proceed otherwise! My first (and thanks to him, LAST) visit was ruined, and I walked out empty-handed. Not every customer is an Apple Store Genius - we just want to enjoy our whole shopping experience, including an easy check-out. Have to shop...
