We stopped in for breakfast/brunch and had a mixed experience. The wait for a table was about 30 minutes, even though there were plenty of open tables inside. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since it’s a busy beach town on Labor Day, and staffing may have been short due to the help moving away to college or something. Once seated, our server was very friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. I ordered the summer special peach cobbler beignets—though not really “beignets,” they were delicious. Unfortunately, they didn’t arrive until after our meals were served, which was disappointing, since I ordered with our drinks for an appetizer since we had a toddler and baby with us. I had the breakfast tacos. The flavor was great, but they were served cold after nearly an hour wait. I did like the idea of the fried wonton wrappers instead of tortillas, but they crumbled too easily, making them hard to eat. My daughter ordered the Killer Creole Omelet, which was hot and generously filled with shrimp, but her grits were so cold the cheese wouldn’t melt. My husband’s Bacon Cali Burger with jalapeños was the highlight—served at the right temperature, flavorful, and well-prepared. We suspect the other food sat while his finished cooking. He did have to return his coffee because the first cup appeared to come in a dirty 🤯 coffee ☕️ cup - outside and inside. Overall, the food had good flavors, and our server was excellent, but the long wait times, inconsistent food temperatures, and high prices really took away from the experience. We might give it another try, but we’d definitely think twice before coming back.

Arrived on a Monday for breakfast and the restaurant was pretty empty. We were hoping that was a good sign but service was a complete miss this day. We had 3 people in our party and it took a few brief moments to be seated. Once seated, we ordered our food with our server. She looked like she was struggling with the handheld device as she asked me to confirm my order again which I did. She moved on to the other individuals and got their order. Our food took a very long time. There was a table before us and a few tables after us. We were all waiting and were quite surprised at how long the wait for the food to hit the table actually was. When the food came, mine was incorrect. She wrote down a po boy for me instead of shrimp tacos. I asked her how long it would take for them to make the corrected item. She came back and replied "yes they can make you the dish". That's not what I asked. I'm well aware the restaurant can make me the right dish because that's what I had ordered, not a po boy. But I just ate it because we didn't have the time to spare given that the first round took so long. Someone in our party wanted syrup with his pancakes and since no one was coming around, he got up to ask for it. Food was overall aesthetic and tasted pretty good. When we were finished, we wanted boxes and we were again met with a wait. We ended up just getting up to get someone up front to pay our bill. Would be a great breakfast spot as they have a beautiful interior with a full bar, if they could just tighten up their staff and service.

We waited over an hour for our food (a burger and breakfast fries) while we watched everyone that ordered after us receive and eat their food. We had an appointment so after so long we ask how much longer and we’re told they were working on ours. After even longer we said just bring the check for our drinks we don’t have anymore time to wait, while I needed something on my stomach for my appointment so I ask how much longer for the fries and they said topping are being added now so 5 minutes. Took longer than that but finally food came out to go. They didn’t offer anything to apologize for such a terrible visit. It was my first and last visit. Customer service was terrible to watch us sit and have everyone around us eat and not check on us or check on our food. Seems as though the bartender/server forgot to put out food in until an hour later when I ask where our food was. Fries came out terrible and cold.

DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT. I'm an out of towner. Gave this place a shot. Food was good. Customer Services was horrid! It took FOREVER for the food to come out. That's first. Second, I ordered a mojito. Key point - prior to my ordering it, I specifically asked the waitress as to whether or not it was a "true mojito" with muddled mint, lime, etc. She assured me that it was. She later brought the "mojito" to me and stated "sorry, we do not have the mint." The mojito was pink. Note - this was supposedly a regular mojito, not a flavored mojito. I tasted it. Disgusting. I sent it back. They refused to take it off my bill. I spoke with the Manager, Jade, who was very uninterested in what I had to say. She told me that the waitress advised her that she had told me that they didn't have the mint PRIOR TO the drink being made. A flat out lie. According to the waitress, Jade's manager, "Ms. Vanessa" was "on the line" and could not assist me further with my concern (note again- Jade stated that she'd "see what she could do" but never returned to our table). The waitress then offered to "make me a drink to go". I refused; I wanted the drink with my meal..making a drink to go was pointless. Trash customer service. This place won't last with the terrible customer service offered to...
