I sincerely dread going to car dealerships and dealing with inappropriate dealers who just looks at a person as some sort of piggy bank. After visiting several and I’ll stress the word several car dealerships over the span of a week and countless hours that I could never make up for, I was fortunate enough to meet Cesar from River Side Nissan. Now before I tell you about Cesar, let me first start off by telling you about all of the employees at this location. Everyone! I mean everyone was completely respectful, courteous and attentive to myself and pregnant wife beyond words. A lot of respect to the staff at River Side Nissan 100%. Now, Cesar is just a different type of person altogether. He just basically sat back and listened to the concerns of my wife and I. At no point while interacting with him did I ever feel pressured, he never gave that vibe that we were wasting his time. Yes, we all know that feeling and the looks we get when the car dealer is annoyed that they have to answer questions and actually do their job. Not the case with Cesar, trust me when I say my wife and I just knew without even mentioning a word to each other that this man was getting our business that’s how comfortable we both felt. There’s a certain feeling that you get when you walk into an establishment and you could read the room and tell what type of characters you’re dealing with. Personally, this purchasing experience was the easiest and most Comfortable that I’ve ever experienced in my life. I don’t have stock in Nissan or a dog in this fight. I’m just a customer who for the 4th time in his life ( I’m in my 40s) was so impressed I genuinely had to take time out of my life to let everybody know about my exceptional experience. Read moreI recently had a frustrating experience with Nissan Riverside, particularly with a dealer named Manuel. When I visited to pick up my plates, Manuel asked to use my phone, specifically to access my email, mentioning something about a free oil change. Trusting him, I handed over my phone. He accessed an old email and then passed my phone to another employee. When it was returned to me, I saw a “thank you for your review” message on the screen. I hadn’t written any review and was in a hurry, so I decided to check later at home. After searchin, I couldn’t find any connection between the free oil change and the supposed review.
I emailed Manuel to clarify the situation—my first email was ignored. Only after I sent a third email, where I mentioned writing a real review, did I get a response asking for my phone number. I requested email communication for future reference, but I was met with silence again.
Later, I realized I wasn’t charged the first lease payment and remembered being told it would happen automatically. I emailed Manuel again, asking how to proceed or for the contact of a financial specialist. No response. My husband had to call Nissan’s customer service directly, only to find out we had to set it up ourselves. This critical information was neither shared at the time of signing nor included in any documents we received.
While we managed to get a decent deal, it was not thanks to the dealership, but because we were well-prepared. Once you leave their premises, their care and attention disappear entirely. The customer service is terrible, and the way they manipulate false reviews...
Read moreWow never will I go anywhere else as soon as I walked In I felt as I was family. I went in to service my car with an oil change . I was greeted by Carlos one of the service advisors whom let me know everything about my vehicle. I went in to get an oil change and let Carlos know my check engine light came on after a trip to Pennsylvania. Carlos stated they will have to do a diagnostic and will take awhile. He escorted me to the waiting area where everyone was so kind and VERY friendly. As I waited I met Manuel Miranda and Steve Ortiz whom also asked if I needed help and treated me as if I were family they made my 4 hour wait go so fast. As I waited I also met the parts salesman whom helped me purchase a set of windshield wipers for my vehicle for a reasonable price. Steve after my car was ready helped me put on new windshield wipers at no cost and also placed some license plates covers also for free. Carlos let me know the issue with my check engine light was covered by the warranty and I needed to make an appointment with Yesenia whom also was very professional to come back and get my car worked on where they will have a loner for me. Due to me coming from manhattan where I would not received the same treatment. I usually go The Bronx. Trust me I will not be going anywhere but Riverside Nissan from now on.
