My wife and I started Archery a little over a year ago, just looking for a fun date night activity. We wanted to try something new, and after an intro course at a different range, we looked for a more comfortable place to learn and found Shooting Zone.
What started as a one-time evening outing quickly became a shared passion, and now archery is a hobby we truly cherish — something that brings us closer, keeps us challenged, and gives us a quiet kind of joy that’s hard to explain.
Shooting Zone has been with us from the very beginning, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to start this journey. The owner and his family have been nothing short of amazing — warm, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind. They’ve taken the time to answer every question, help us find the right gear, and make us feel welcome every time we walk through the door.
The space is clean, well-organized, and accessible whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned archer. But what really makes Shooting Zone special is the people. It’s a rare thing to find a place that not only teaches you a skill, but also becomes part of your story. We’re so grateful...
Read morenice place to do archery indoors. it’s a good place for people who have done archery before (even if they’re not very advanced)- it’s a bit harder for those who are totally new and unfamiliar with archery. there is a short beginner’s video but it’d be helpful to hold a bow while the video is playing to mimic the instructor. a little hard to remember all the pointers when you’re completely new. but for those who have a bit of experience and don’t need instruction or assistance, it’s a great place to practice and develop those arm muscles. archery is a fun activity!
the owner is nice and helps you get set up initially and checks your posture and shooting. my suggestion would be it would be to have a check in again in the middle of the session for beginners.
overall it was a good experience. the owner tries to spice it up at the very end and sets up balloon targets at the end. if you can hit it you have a free rental the next time you’re there. price wise it’s affordable and reasonable for the experience. happy to return and...
Read moreI brought my nephews here on 4/3/2021 to fulfill a promise made to them that I would begin bonding with them more to provide the mindset and presence of an additional Male in their lives. We were thrilled with the facilities and the service from the staff. Everything is super clean and organized. They also adhere to mask compliance which was a huge plus!
We inquired for private lessons over the phone before arriving on site and were immediately attended to and given instructions to begin our experience.
Honestly, their hospitality and patience really makes me want to consider a membership and private lessons to finally pursue the art and mastery of Archery.
This is a family owned business who clearly love what they do and are amazing to be around. Their energy is electric and adds to the allure of learning to shoot the bow and arrow.
Dad and owner of the establishment is a great guy. I will learn Archery better. We...
