From the moment you step into Pizza Knight in Hackensack, you know you’ve found something special. This isn’t just a pizzeria—it’s an experience. The aroma hits you like a warm embrace, hinting at the magic happening in the oven. Each pie is a masterpiece, balancing tradition and bold creativity with an effortless cool that only a place this confident can pull off. The crust? Perfectly crisped, yet airy. The sauce? Rich, tangy, and clearly crafted with care. Toppings are fresh, generous, and layered with precision. Whether you’re a purist sticking to a classic Margherita or exploring something signature, every bite feels like a celebration, try the Drunken Peps and the Buttermilk chicken tenders I would never steer your taste buds in the wrong direction. Been a Bergen County resident for 20+ years and I assure you this is top notch pizza in the area!! And the vibe? Unmatched. The staff brings a genuine warmth that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It’s the kind of spot that reminds you why local pizza will always outshine the chains—because it’s made with soul. If you haven’t been to Pizza Knight yet, you’re missing out on one of New Jersey’s finest pizza joints. This place deserves a line out the door.

16” pizza and chicken tenders (or what’s left from them). The pizza, in my opinion, was perfectly made. The thickness is right where it should be - not too thin and not too thick. The bottom was done but not over cooked and not full of flour and the crust was crunchy AF! Perfect for folding or just eating like the rest of you weirdos eat ;) The chicken tenders were so crunchy you got to be careful where you eat them because that thing flies everywhere…! They are BIG! Yet perfectly cooked and paired with your choice of dipping sauce. They offer a whole bunch of things that are homemade. Just make sure you order in time because they did ran out of dough last time we were trying to get a pie (Friday night), and now I know why. I would suggest only 1 thing - add those small thingies that prevent the cardboard box from sticking to the pizza. I placed the chicken tenders on top of the box when picking it up and it bulged down on it. Won’t stop me from coming back! I mean, your pizza hit that spot!

12 years ago I lived in Detroit for about a year and man their pan pizza is incomparable to ANYTHING you can get on the east coast. Every now and then I would reminisce about how good that pizza was and would wish something or someone was available locally in NJ. God has heard my prayers and delivered them in the form of Pizza Knight. My NJ brothers and sisters I am not knocking NYC/NJ pizza here, that will always be number ONE. But sometimes… sometimes… you want something different. And this place IS IT. Do yourself a favor and grab a Detroit style pizza, if you’ve never had one you will not be disappointed and this spot hits the mark 100%. I thought I was back in Farmington Hills for a moment when I took a bite of this pizza, instant flashbacks to a good time in my life. I will be returning, regularly.

After a quest to find the quintessential pizza experience in town, I stumbled upon Pizza Knight, and let me tell you, it was a culinary adventure worth every savory bite.

From the moment I stepped through the door, I was met with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The staff at Pizza Knight exude friendliness and genuine care for their patrons, making me feel not just like a customer, but like a welcomed guest.

Now, let’s talk about the main event – the pizza. I indulged in both the Detroit Vodka Cecilian and the Vodka Pie, and each slice was a revelation of flavor. The Detroit Vodka Cecilian boasted a perfect blend of tangy tomato sauce, creamy vodka sauce, and crispy crust, while the Vodka Pie elevated the classic pizza with its unique vodka-infused twist, leaving my taste buds dancing with delight.

Beyond the mouthwatering pizzas, Pizza Knight’s attention to detail and commitment to quality shine through in every aspect of their offerings. From the fresh ingredients to the expertly crafted crusts, it’s evident that they take pride in their craft.

In conclusion, Pizza Knight isn’t just a place to grab a slice – it’s a destination for pizza aficionados seeking an unforgettable dining experience. With impeccable hospitality and pizzas that redefine perfection, Pizza Knight has undoubtedly earned its place as a must-visit...

First I want to say the owners and staff are awesome, extremely nice, attentive, and even during busy hours, will always say hello. Let me tell you they are always busy, and that’s always a good sign.

This was my second time getting pizza from here and so far I’ve gotten the margharita, the 16” drunken pepperoni, and the Detroit style drunken pepperoni. Each pizza was amazing. You can easily tell by the ingredients that everything is fresh and the pizza makers really take pride in their craft.

If I were to rate this on a 10 scale, all these pizzas would qualify as a 9.3 (barstool standard). I had pizza from the city; prince street, John’s on bleeker st, best pizza, and this would easily qualify in the quality of those pizzas. Coming from the Bloomfield/nutley/Caldwell area this is in the same tier as Ralph’s in nutley, angeloni’s in west Caldwell, and star tavern in orange.

Anyone that loves pizza needs to try this place! They really take care of their orders and try their best to make sure the pizza isnt soggy. ALSO you would think this place has been open for like 50 years with how good it is, but they haven’t even hit the year mark, so only even better and great things to come...
