Frutimex Supermarket — Attraction in Hackettstown

I shopped here for years until I had to leave town to live in a facility for disabled people. I used to get all my fresh veggies and herbs from Fruity Mex. My favorite thing was a hot sauce that I can not find anywhere near where I live now. I searched for over a year and found nothing like what I got at FruityMex. Even Amazon was not an option. One a whim I decided to call fruity Mex and see if they remembered me and would be willing to ship me a bottle and I could pay them extra for shipping. The Staff did remember me and were so kind and helpful... Not only are they sending it to me, but they refused to take my money and sent it to me as a gift. Truly a Heart warming story. It's so important to support our local businesses, even if you have moved away from home. I want to say Thank you to the kind young lady who answered the phone and I wish I could give the man named David who really just made my day. I hope some day to be healthy enough again to come and visit and pay back the favor. I miss all the aspects of Hackettstown and love what my hometown has...

I will not be returning. I'm new to the area and I've passed by the store several times and decided to go in today 🙃.... BIG MISTAKE. The cashier saw me standing in line and proceeded to wait on people who came in line after me. One man who obviously knew that I was being mistreated looked ate,shrugged his shoulders, shook his head and smiled... Definitely didn't feel comfortable...

Soo this is the only hispanic supermarket around Hackettstown there is no other soo based on the the products the price is supply and demand.. there is alot of demand soo its expensive.. but the meat is always fresh is a plus.. they have hispanos international foods costa rica.. aregentina .. peru.. DR.. its clean.. fresh.....
