The staff was friendly and helpful. We had not been in there in years. We needed a pair of hinges for an old door we are putting in. We were in luck today they had a door that had the exact hinges that we needed on it. They were nice enough to allow me to just buy the hinges. We paid less for the hinges than we would have had we bought them on eBay. I was also looking to replace outlets and they had brand new outlets for a dollar a piece which is cheaper than buying them in the construction pack at Lowe's. They also had insulated underlayment for the floors that we were going to be doing at a half the price that it is on Amazon or Ebay. Overall it was a good day there. We still feel that their prices on some stuff are high but they have things that you might need if you're looking to change or modify stuff in your house. Overall it...
Read moreThe Restore in Hagerstown does have some worth but depending on what you're looking for you're going to have to dig to find gold.
They have a good mix of furniture, fixtures, lighting, tools, rugs, and bath accessories but with Hagerstown running deep into the 1800's some items are old or outdated. Read moreI can always find something I need at Restore. I’ve also donated items. The last time I was there, I purchased a table, 4chairs, and a small desk. When I went back to have the items loaded into my car, the gentleman loading became quite rude. Said he wasn’t going to listen to me and I could load them myself. He was convinced that it was not going to all fit in my car. He haphazardly put it in and tied the back down with one flimsy little string tied around my rear windshield wiper. I didn’t wanna argue so I left him do his own thing. Then we went a block away, unloaded the car and reloaded it, and was able to get the back closed without an issue. I’ll still shop here and I’ll still donate here but I’ll load my own stuff...
