Auto-Pro — Attraction in Hamden

I had LED lights installed on my Santa Fe and it involved removing the front bumper cover. The bumper cover was reinstalled incorrectly and looked awful with large gaps at the seems. It seems that Auto Pro did not finish the modification for the lights and broke retaining clips - which made the bumper cover not fit right. I had to have a body shop fix their mess.

The work was overall sloppy as they left a roll of electrical tape under one of my windshield wipers and blue masking tape sticking out from under one of the lights. In addition, the original OEM foglight bulbs were never given back to me. The LED lights do work great, despite the sloppy job. I should've asked for some of my money back, because of the fact that I incurred extra costs due to the sloppy work.

Use this place with caution and don't trust them with late-model vehicles. Always expect to get your vehicle back in the same condition as you gave...

I have been here two times. The first time was a few years ago and I bought and had a new stereo installed that works with my ipod. The install was good and everything was great.

I came back to get a car alarm installed. The alarm is awesome and the price (including installation) was very good. The guy at the counter was very helpful and friendly. He showed me all the functions of the two way remote that goes on the key chain and went over everything with me before sending me on my way.

I have to say, if I hadn't been there before and was reading these reviews I would be a little skeptical, but not dismissive. I think these guys are running a great shop, with good products, and good service. I would recommend them to anyone needing what they offer and I will definitely go...

I went to Auto-Pro a few months ago and had a HID system installed in my Honda Accord. I am very pleased with the work done and I haven't experienced any problems at all. Denis, the guy at the front counter, was very friendly and available to assist his customers. I think I am going this month to have my alarm and remote starter system installed with them. I would recommend this auto shop to anyone who needs his car to be taken care of....
