I liked this store better when it was Diana’s. Staff was friendlier and more helpful. Today I purchased a lighted light house. I also purchased a magic cord which I thought was needed for this ornament. When I got home I realized I needed a power cord instead. When I went back to Normans they told me that either cord would work. Since I purchased these ornaments before I knew better. I suggest the staff learn to be more familiar with the merchandise before they make suggestions to customers. The staff in this store is not well versed on different operation. A cashier did not know how to make an exchange, had to wait for the manager to get assistance. Also one cashier could not check the currency, she had to wait for another cashier to be free to get a bill checked. Read moreI used to work in a Hallmark store, so I knew what to expect. Or so I thought. Maybe because they are finally allowing people in, but some of the prices were incredible. I got a lunch tote for $3.95. I actually saw it in the window before I went into another store. I didn't have much time, so I quickly went back, to go inside Norman's and grab the lunch tote.
