My family and I went to this store a few months ago to look for a new recliner chair. We worked with a man named Devyn. I am writing this review not as a reflection of the products that this store has to offer (although there is a good selection and we have been happy with prior furniture purchases made at Raymour & Flanigan), but rather as a means by which to publicly acknowledge the exceptional customer service we received from Devyn while browsing.

I have a form of muscular dystrophy that makes it quite difficult and time-consuming for me to walk up steep inclines, including stairs. From a layman's perspective, I may walk with an odd gait; however, at this point in my diseases progression, there are no immediate indicators to others (i.e., a mobility scooter, wheelchair, etc.) that I am unable to walk well up stairs.

Most places I go, when I ask to take a lift or an elevator, I am looked at like I have three heads - as though I am just being lazy or asking to be annoying. When I inquired about this to Devyn - no questions were asked. He treated me like any other customer. Not only this, but he was extremely informative, not pushy at all, and had excellent communication skills. I felt no pressure from him whatsoever to make any purchase immediately and my family and I left the store in awe of his kind demeanor and polite attitude toward us during our time browsing.

We ultimately ended up purchasing a recliner chair from another retailor; however, my family's experience at this location with Devyn was so good that I would opt to shop at this location exclusively going forward as opposed to the other Raymour & Flanigan locations in the greater Harrisburg area.

My husband and I purchased a mattress with an adjustable bed from this store a few weeks ago. Our experience was good. This store replaced Leibmans which is where we have shopped for all of our furniture our entire adult lives so we looked forward to having a new quality furniture store in its place. Based on our experience we brought my mother there who also needed to purchase a new mattress and adjustable base. Everything went great during the sale and the delivery clearly included the removal of her current mattress and the old adjustable base. When the delivery company showed up at 8:45 AM at my elderly mother's home, they refused to handle the disposal despite it being part of the deal she paid for. Fortunately my husband arrived to help her as the delivery team was argumentative and very ugly to an elderly person who just got a major shock, trying to figure out how the old materials would be handled. After contacting the salesman they took the old adjustable base but still refused to take the mattress in spite of the promises made during the sale. My mother is highly upset and has cancelled her planned purchase of a living room from R and F. I am livid that i handed my mother over to this unscrupulous company and will never again do business there, When i refer someone they trust my word that they will have a good experience.
