Staff was slow. No one greeted. No one offered assistance. The only person that said hello to me was another customer!! No rush in their step as well. Not even a fast walk. Item I was purchasing had no price tag. Had to wait for another staff member to shuffle her way over to assist the register gal who was in the aisle looking to see if the tag fell (or something) . When the staff member finally came over she seemed to ignore me, trying to help other customers, when the register lady clearly made a clear enough voiced announcement that she needed her help looking for something. The associate did apologize though, and I think gave me a lower price cause she thinks a part was missing from the Halloween outfit. Which Was nice of her. But the Store was kind of a mess. Not, omg ew, but just hey....someone should pick and tidy some things up round here as ya'll go throughout the day. Seemed like more associates standing round talking and what looked to be like they were shopping, and not working.
However, this is not my first time here. When I do usually come I try to make sure a certain associate is there. Kyla: long blonde hair, glasses. She is ALWAYS super friendly and helpful. Always greets! Always on top of it all. Most times if she's not there, I'll just leave. I rather be in a store with an associate that's great at her job and wants me there. Than associates that just don't associate!!!
But, for the prices the store is a...
Read moreI still generally like this store but felt I needed to comment on some raised prices as of late. I noticed video game prices raised from the previous $2.99 to $4.99 or even $9.99 in one case. I get that inflation exists but people are giving this stuff to you for free so it's not like you're paying more for products. Also $4.99 is above market value for probably 90% of the games that you have on your shelf so I'd rather buy from a game store for those kind of games. Raising the price too high is taking away a lot of the appeal of shopping at a thrift store in the first place because the main reason that people choose to shop at thrift shops instead of other stores is that they like to feel like they're getting a good deal. Just some constructive criticism because I think Goodwill is going to lose revenue if they don't bring their prices back to a point where people feel like they're getting a deal. They shelves will also be overstocked with things they can't get rid of and will end up in the bins selling for way less...
Read moreI don't use the review Goodwills but this one and one other one stands out as the employees being the most polite that I have ever come across! The one near South Riding in Virginia and this one, each employee looks in the eye speaks to you doesn't look like they are at work with a hangover or at a funeral I mean I can't get over this store. Even when returning a car one walked out halfway through the entrance and parking lot too take the card from you and thank me. You don't get that anywhere else and I've been to probably 50 different Goodwills, yeah don't judge me.
This particular store has a small selection but it's pretty clean in there I guess there aren't 75 little Rugrats running around screaming and messing with the toys or something. Parking is Apple in a huge parking lot if you drive too fast pass it you will miss it.
This was for my last visit ever in Pennsylvania...
