Keyworth Stadium is where the Detroit City Football Club games are held and hosted. It is such a fun place to come to. There are multiple food trucks there that actually together serve a very wide selection of foods. They have Mexican, pizza, sandwiches, smoothies, beer and other alcoholic beverages, they also occasionally have my personal favorite food, the lobster macaroni and cheese. They have great merchandise and the games are so fun. The only thing that I would like to tell you is if you have smaller kids, the wonderful and supportive fans of DCFC chant some catchy chants that have some curse words, or more like many. They can also show some poor sportsmanship. But otherwise, it is a really great and fun experience. It is not in the very best neighborhood, but there are so many staff members and police officers that I don't have to worry. I would very much suggest going to one of...
Read moreWatched the Detroit City F.C. win the NISA Championship 🏆 here. I've been meaning to get to a game for a while and Covid kept me from doing it. It was great to be out and the stadium itself is absolutely charming. Its located in an great neighborhood in Hamtramck and when your watching the game the backdrop of industrial Detroit, with an occasional train passing by only adds to the charm. Concessions is typically provided by food trucks and the quality of the food was awesome (we tried several trucks). The only thing I would improve is the speed... typically there were long lines that moved slow. I dont know if its payment methods (venmo, cashapp, ect) or if its everyone just getting used to life pre-covid, or if it was the capacity crowd. Either way, the stadium itself is lovely. Go Detroit City F.C.! I look forward to watching more games...
Read moreKeyworth was a fantastic place for DCFC. The North side of the stadium has food and drink from all around the metro Detroit area, including a beer made by a Ferndale brewery Axel especially for DCFC. The merchandise stand has quite a few offerings at affordable prices. There are employees walking around with iPads, not sure of they take cash, but it didn't seem like it. I strongly recommend standing on the East side of the stadium as it provided a strong American soccer experience with chanting all game and flares after goals. The chanting would be better if the 'hype team' didn't use megaphones, they were already yelling, so the megaphone was redundant. The stadium is the right size for the team now, if they continue to move up leagues they may need to expand the...
