We went to this community centered gallery to see Navjeet Kaur's Blood Memories of Sun, Soil and Threaded Rivers. It was such a warm intimate space where I felt like I could really take in the art without distractions.
I'm not like an art buff or anything so I appreciated how the pieces were set up so I could check them all out but also step back and see the whole.
I included a photo of my favorite piece that really spoke to me about feeling grounded and connected with myself and those that came before me. How that connection really breathes more life into my everyday moments and a reminder to honor where and who I come from.
