Store Experience, 5 stars: The inside store sale and transaction experience was fine; friendly help was offered to us in finding a product, but we didn't feel pressured which is nice. Scheduler assistance for delivery, 5 stars: The help I received from the scheduler on the day prior to delivery was also good as he did his best to accommodate my request to schedule my delivery earlier on short notice. My delivery time moved to the first delivery of the day, I only live 10 minutes from the store, and they told me the truck is preloaded in the order of deliveries. Knowing this, I expected to receive my delivery in a timely fashion as I was told the delivery crew leaves the store by 10:45am, I was the first customer of the day, and I live LESS THAN 5 MILES away.
Delivery, 1/2 star at MOST: However, I find my actual delivery completely unacceptable; if I could give 1/2 star or less, I would. I called the morning of delivery to Denver Mattress to explain I was called into work and asked them if they could come as early as possible. I was told again I was the first delivery of the day and they would be at my home between 10:30am and 11:30am, which I accepted as I had no other option and it is not Furniture Row’s fault I was called in to work. As I waited, I prepped my old mattress and it was waiting for the crew OFF my box springs, by my front door to assist in expediting the delivery of JUST ONE MATTRESS. I had no updates from the driver and when I called the store AT 11:30AM, I was told they would be at my home within 10-15 minutes! There was no reason I can fathom it take 50+ minutes to arrive at my home! No apology for being late from the crew, no sense of urgency or speeding up my delivery since they were already 10 minutes past my delivery window. I am totally disappointed in the delivery portion of my experience and if I had known the "free delivery" would have translated into such a huge issue, I would have taken my product home myself or made other arrangements. Perhaps, if I decide to purchase from Furniture Row in the future, I may have to reconsider the option of delivery since it seems to be the Achilles' Heel of the overall customer service experience. The delivery crew is the LAST to interact with Furniture Row customers and they should be the ones aiming to leave a great experience in mind, otherwise all the other great service received in the store won’t make any positive difference in...
Read moreI had such a great experience here, especially thanks to Lukas, the assistant manager. I used to work in furniture sales myself, so I’m usually a little skeptical walking into places like this—but he was honestly one of the best salespeople I’ve ever dealt with.
He didn’t try to upsell me or push anything. He started with the more budget-friendly options and let me figure out for myself that my back is a little picky, instead of jumping straight to the expensive beds. When I told him I’ve always liked the feel of Stearns & Foster but couldn’t really justify the price, he showed me a Sealy pillow top that ended up being exactly what I wanted. I really appreciated that.
It was Memorial Day and only two of them were working, but he still took his time with us, answered every question honestly, and never made us feel rushed. If he didn’t know something, he just checked with his manager instead of guessing. I liked that a lot—he wasn’t trying to fake it or pretend.
We also ended up getting two adjustable bases off the floor for a really good price. They had minor cosmetic damage, and instead of hiding it, they showed us exactly where it was and explained the history. No surprises. No games. Everything worked great and came with a warranty anyway, so I felt totally comfortable.
More than anything, Lukas treated me like a person, not just a sale. He was respectful, helpful, and just easy to talk to. You can tell he cares about doing his job right. I’d definitely recommend asking for...
Read moreI just purchased a Doctor’s Choice Mattress at Denver Mattress. Paul Lewis, Sales Representative, was very helpful by recommending options and providing demonstrations. I chose the Doctor’s Choice after reviewing Consumer Reports recommendations prior to my visit to Denver Mattress. Denver Mattress is delivering the mattress free of a delivery charge (some local furniture companies have a $99.00 delivery fee). In addition, Denver Mattress has a 365 Night Better Sleep Guarantee. Hopefully, the Doctor’s Choice lives up to the Consumer Report’s review. If not, I will contact Mr. Lewis, return the Doctor’s Choice and upgrade the mattress.
4/16/25, Update. I used Denver Mattress’ Better Sleep Guarantee and traded my Doctor’s Choice mattress for the Doctor’s Choice Hybrid Firm mattress. Denver Mattress was very helpful with the replacement and I’m very happy with my new mattress. Thank you Mr. Lewis and the mattress delivery men...
