Harbor Freight — Attraction in Harlingen

Went In to make a return and noticed a huge line. I looked around to see where I could make my return. Spoke to a guy who just waved us off and told us we had to go wait in that same line where there were several people. What irritates me is how the guy didn't offer to help us with the return so we didn't have to wait when he was clearly getting ready to open a register. I was fine with waiting till he did open it but he never offered just pointed us in the other direction and that was it. The woman that helped us on the other side was a lot more helpful. Rude, rude just rude..... my experience was with a gentleman named Merced (store manager). I walked up to him this afternoon with a air hose that was defective a d I stated that "I had purchased the hose in brownsville." Right away he cut me off and said he couldn't look up my receipt and that the hose had "90 day warranty with a receipt." As much as i agree with the policy, little did he k ow that I was there to purchase a tool box and a new compressor, as mine stopped working yesterday. I was there to take advantage of the 25% off coupon. Soooo to whom it may concern, i will take my business elsewhere where a 15$ air hose brings about 1500$ in business revenue. Keep up the great...

The staff is friendly and helpful. I like that you can touch and closely look at many of the items that are on display. The store is pretty well organized. Sometimes they run out of the most popular items but otherwise store is well stocked. I arrived one time a few minutes before closing and they weren't letting any more customers in so get there with plenty of time to spare. While it is a "discount" tool store you'll want to take a little extra cash, it's easy to buy more than what you initially went to buy. Similar to potatoe chips "I bet you can't eat just one".
