Jackson Square Event Center — Attraction in Harlingen

We celebrated our daughter’s quinceañera just two days after a massive flash flood hit the city in March 2025. The flood affected many areas, including our venue, Jackson Square Event Center, which had water damage. On Friday morning, we woke up not knowing if our daughter’s long-awaited XV would even happen. At that point, there were no tables, no chairs—nothing set up.

But Fernando and his crew were absolute heroes. They worked tirelessly, pulling off what felt like a miracle in less than 24 hours. By Saturday evening, the venue looked absolutely perfect—you’d never guess a flood had just hit! We chose the top package for a stress-free experience, and they delivered just that. Every vendor was amazing, the food was delicious, the cake was stunning and tasty, and the photographer captured every special moment flawlessly.

What stood out the most was Fernando’s dedication. He didn’t stop all night—he made sure everything ran smoothly so that our daughter’s quinceañera was everything she dreamed of. He went above and beyond, and we are so thankful.

I attended a quincenera here yesterday for the 1st time ever may I start by saying it's a very beautiful location with more than one restrooms available men and women there was never any lines to wait so you can get back to the party quick... the staff was super friendly and quick with service.. I especially want to mention the owner was more than helpful when I arrived home that night and realized I lost my purse posibley at the venue I called him around 7:30 am (a # I got from the front door.) he answered quickly to assist me. Not only did he follow up with me later that afternoon to assure me that no purse was found he was so detailed about what was done at the venu to again make sure nothing was left behind he even gave me suggestions and really made me feel that he cared about my belongings even wanted me to let him now if it was later found which it was. It just was a great experience overall..

I took part in hosting a women's conference at the Jackson Square Event Center though a local organization, and I can't recommend them highly enough. The team, especially Fernando, made the planning process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Fernando's responsiveness set my mind at ease.
