The Point Bar — Restaurant in Harlingen

My friends and I have been here a few times and absolutely love the setup of this bar, definitely has potential! Last night myself and two guy friends went by around 1030 pm and sat at the bar. From 1030 to 1230 the one bartender working ignored us, we only had one drink due to her lack of interest in us . On the other hand she was serving all the regulars and even taking multiple shots at the side of the bar. Because of her we decided to leave since we couldn't even get a drink at the bar lol ! I would suggest checking cameras or installing some to see what your bartenders are really up too. I will be back, hopefully to see a bartender who wants to tend. When you go out you want to have a good time, not...

Food was great. However, not very satisfied with tonight's atmosphere. Last night. The previous bartender was very attentive, friendly, and always checked on us. Tonight's bartender? not so much. Did NOT even check on us...Not once. And what made me VERY DISAPPOINTED was that me and the homie had a LARGE SELECTION to choose from the menu last night. Tonight? She handed him a sheet of paper the size of his palm and said that was the menu.....a late night menu??! Really????? And it wasn't even 10...let alone 9pm. But I see why it is the way it is. They're too busy conversation with their friends and fixing their own drinks to even be attentive to what we're doing. It's like they almost didn't...

Wouldn't recommend going to this place to have some drinks and hang out w your friends. My wife and I and her friend were kicked out cause we didn't buy a beer with in 10 mins of being there and they told us " the bartender said if we're were not going to buy drinks that we have to leave" like wth . I told them no wonder this place is always dead. How can you just ASSUME I wasn't gonna buy a beer I had just got there. and was waiting on more friends to come but I told them what they said and we all decided not to ever go there again. Don't recommend this bar. POINT ....
