I had a very disappointing experience with this business. I initially chose to support them despite being 40 minutes away from Brownsville, hoping to support a local small business rather than going to a big-box store like Hobby Lobby.
Unfortunately, what followed was poor communication and a lack of accountability. After confirming a replacement frame via text, there was no mention of a price change or updated agreement. Instead, I received a bill with double the original amount once shipping was confirmed. When I spoke with the business, I was told my deposit would be reimbursed, but despite multiple follow-ups, I’ve heard nothing back.
It’s incredibly unprofessional to make an internal mistake, fail to communicate properly, and then expect the customer to cover the difference. I genuinely wanted to support this business, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend them.
I hope the $119.88 deposit was worth the loss...
