I go to the Pennsylvania State capitol often. I enjoy the beautiful building since it is one of the prettiest state buildings I have ever gone. I have tried to speak with State Representative Daryl Metcalfe about total LGBTQ anti discrimination protection under the law since the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania does not have it at the moment. He has not spoken to me at all. I have taken a picture of that door .All I want is to have a simple one on one conversation with the man nothing else. Yesterday I went and spoke with a bunch of Republican lawmakers and they are not for LGBT anti-discrimination protection . I Spoke with My state Senator John DiSantoHe used the classic no by saying " I will take it under consideration." Then he quickly walked out to go somewhere! I am a constituent and I felt like he just threw me away it does not care about me by the way he walked away! I also had conversations with a bunch of other state lawmakers about my issues including legalization of marijuana.. I seem to get resistance for my issues from the Republican party. The Republican party is keeping the Commonwealth from actually progressing in a positive manner.. I also found it disturbing at the Capitol because I'm diabetic and live on food stamps I cannot get any food in the cafeteria of the Commonwealth Capitol.. They don't take food stamps. My blood sugars really dropped yesterday and I almost passed out but I could not get any food at the Capitol because they don't allow food stamps use. The Commonwealth needs to do better.. The lawmakers at the state capital need to help poor homeowners. The whole Home Repair Program wasn't included in the current budget. Money needs to be allocated to RURAL PENNSYLVANIA PEOPLE. YET THE WHOLE HOME PROGRAM WASN'T INCLUDED IN THE CURRENT BUDGET! A Commonwealth or a state is as strong as the weakest link. Yet the government fails to take care of the poor in a real Way! Pennsylvania has proven once again that poor folks lives don't matter! My current real review of Pennsylvania State Capital! If the situation changes i reserve the right to edit this review.

𝑸 The United States Constitution states that the government of the United States must guarantee every state "a Republican form of Government". As such, the Democratic Party is an unconstitutional party according to Article 4 section 4 of the US Constitution. The party itself is nốt established by the Constitution, because it was created after it was written. Furthermore, it has no official mandate to represent the people of the United States. Since it is not a Republican form of government by definition, the Democratic Party cannot be recognized as a legitimate political party by constitutional standards. Without being officially recognized by the US Constitution, it would be impossible for the party to be legally bound by the Constitution and its protections. This is why so many politicians and citizens strongly believe that the Democratic Party is unconstitutional. As such, it is unconstitutional for the Democratic Party to participate in US elections or to govern in any way shape or form. HOW TO ELIMINATE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY 1. Draft and pass a bill or resolution in Congress that officially eliminates the political party and provide details. 2. Enact the bill by majority vote in both the House of Representatives and Senate. 3. Allow the president to review the legislation before signing. 4. After signing the legislation, the president must then transmit a copy of the bilt or resolution to each State governor. 5. When all of the states have received the bill or resolution, the political party nust officially inform the states of its disbandment which will trigger the process of removing its candidates from the ballot for the upcoming election. 6. The state governments must then comply with the instructions by remoying allexisting records of the party from the nationalstate, and local levels. 7. After the political party is removed from the ballots, the party must cease to exist and no longer be recognized by the government

Definitely one of the best state houses in the United States! The tour of the Capitol building lasted about 30 minutes. On it you get to see the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Senate, and Supreme Court. All of the rooms on the tour are beautiful. The lunettes in the arches of the rotunda are spectacular. The chandeliers are one of a kind, as they were designed by James Tiffany. Each part of the Capitol building has paintings depicting Pennsylvania state history in larger than life fashion. Statues of famous Pennsylvanians can also be spotted around the rotunda. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is actually the oldest Supreme Court in the United States. On some days it is possible to see the legislature in action, other times it is not. The tour is easy to find once in the rotunda. Tickets are free, but you should reserve a space ahead of time. Tour guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Also, take a walk around the Capitol Complex outside if you get the change. Very nice area!

A lot of people in the States seem to rate Pennsylvania’s state capitol as the most beautiful. It’s certainly very elegant outside, especially from the fountain side, although I found the decoration inside too heavy. The tour, however, was excellent, done at a brisk pace but full of information by an engaging and knowledgeable guide, and there was plenty of literature about the building and Pennsylvania that we were encouraged to take away. Only potential problem is that the website for booking tours doesn’t work outside the States, so I had to get a U.S. friend to book it for me - worth knowing for other overseas visitors as you can only enter on a tour on weekends and holidays, and the tours are in any case worth doing.

The Pennsylvania State Capitol building is one of the most ornate in the country. It is absolutely lovely and worth checking out. Book a free tour on the state capital website. It can get crowded and reserving a place is a good idea. The tour allows you to see rooms you would not be able to get to otherwise. In the weekend you have to use the main rotunda entrance which is on Third and state street. There is lots of street parking and there is wheel chair access. You have to go through security so get there a little early. There was no queue in the weekend but during the week it can get crowded.

This is probably the most impressive state capitol of all the 50 states. The building cost millions to built at the turn of last century and it shows from the chandeliers to the gold leaf trim. If you are in the area this is a must see. Take a detour off the Turnpike and take a tour of this magnificent building. If you still have time take a tour of the State Museum next door. Re-live Pennsylvania's history. There are some good restaurants within walking distance of the Capitol Complex if you get hungry or you can visit the fine cafeteria right in the Capitol building.
