Honestly pretty sad been coming here for over 7yrs use to be twice a week and each year things are just getting worse and worse with the food, the Cook always has a nasty attitude she is super miserable and its showing she gets super pist when she messes up the food, every single time i have been going something has been wrong for instance hair in my food TWICE in 1 month. Serving me this wierd cheese and telling me its cotija when in fact im spanish and know what cotija is or when i got the street corn the nerve to throw straight nasty smelly MAYO on it sprinkle chilly i told them it suppose to come with cotija atleast and said we never put that on their when you can see that when they advertise it with cotija. I know it sounds like complaining but its always been something random lately and i aint even looking. The OG bartenders are always amazing and have to take the heat. You raised your prices and the food quality is declining as well as the mechanicsburg location. I feel like they dont care any longer and that sucks because now you feel the difference its no longer busy and the vibe isnt their ! Wish they can analyze and start fresh you have other buisness like Azteca who are giving people clean food, great atmosphere, better energy. I wish i can continue coming, i will miss the old you! Shout out to Randall the only person holding the entire location down no matter rainy days!
Last thing i would say is 5stars are reasonable for ppl who dont care what they eat, happy hour drinks and the recipe to the red salsa but the energy needs to change and the cook needs to be held accountable for her constant mistake and horrible attitude towards the...
Read moreWe went here based on good reviews from a coworker. We have kids and generally Mexican restaurants are famous for being kid friendly. There were other kids there, so I imagine this restaurant is generally accepting of kids. We had an early reservation for 5PM. Our waitress was so rude, not welcoming at all. She rolled her eyes at us at least 3 times for honestly no other reason than asking if she could bring us something. When I ordered (fajitas) she acted beside herself when I didn't understand that cheese would be melted on top of the food rather than served beside it (like every other time I've ordered fajitas). They upcharge for everything that usually comes standard (the dressings plate) vegetables other than peppers. The fajita meat/veggies was drenched in oil. My husband ordered the crab enchilada, my kids ate off my plate. At the end, the bill was 50$'s, no drinks chips and salsa (you pay for) and 2 entrees (pricey for Mexican food) and it was not anything I would recommend anybody going back for. We tipped her, though I really didn't want to. I never write reviews but due to the price of the food, the terrible service and the quality of the food, a bad review...
Read moreThis is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I've been to in the region. The decor is really thematic without being over the top. Staff are super friendly and the server, I think it was Michell, was very attentive, approachable and easy to speak with... Kudos!
The food was really pretty good .. the chips and salsa, and the side of guacamole were all quite tasty. Loved my large chile relleno which came with a small amount of rice, beans and mixed greens. The chile was so large that I was glad it hadn't come with a ton of r and b. That's rice n beans. ;). My other half had enchildadas and enjoyed them though they may have had a touch too much onion. But still they were good. We eyed the smothered burritos and they looked super good, so we know what we're having next time.
The place is super clean and if you're elderly or in a wheelchair or use crutches or a cane, there's lots of space to get around... inclusive of the men's rr.
You have a choice to sit at the bar, at a high table or at a standard table or booth-like seating. So there's lots of flexibility.
Overall, we were very happy and loved our server! Looking forward to going back next time we're in...
