Not so big but still amazingly beautiful. We went there for viewing fall colors around vermont and hampshire, we took a halt at this place for lunch and the beautiful and colorful valley and the bridge ofcourse. Being a vegetarian I prefer carrying my lunch so we just parked our car there, there was enough parking space but still if you are unlucky or visit there on peak time, you might not get the parking. So after parking car, we took our lunch, then went to see the bridge and the valley, there is a walkable place at the side of bridge. Watch videos of the valley. Later we found a trail over there since it was small we decided to go on that, it was misses in our research about the place. I must say it was a great find as we found a small dam over there at the end and the small power plant. It was amazing view. While taking photos over there it starts to get dark and we had to reach to our hotel so we quickly wrap up everything and left the place. I recommend this state park if you are nearby for watching fall colors. Just an addon, there is a camping area as well so if you have plans for that do a pre reservation. Hope you will have fun, next time you visit. Ciao !

Located right next to Quechee Gourge, a well kept park ποΈ with a few trails. One trail leads to the VINS Nature Center, another to a man made waterfall and a trail that runs perpendicular to the Quechee Gourge itself. Bring good hiking π₯Ύ shoes, bug π repellent and water for that one! Picnic π§Ί tables, not many, plenty of parking π ΏοΈ, map πΊοΈ of trails and a communication for those who are contemplating suicide, yes really! Carry in, carry out. I cannot remember if you can bring your pet π, but, I would keep an eye π on Fido because there is a busy road π£οΈ that divides the park. A father and daughter set up a lemonade π stand in the parking π ΏοΈ area. That's cool π! I visited to see the gourge and waterfall. I want to return to walk the trail to VINS.

Quechee state park is great. The sites are wooded and pretty private. (Site 46) They allow generators during certain times. My next door neighbor decided to start it an hour early (7am) and then leave for the day. I wouldn't have minded but it was a little loud. We did let the staff know and it was taken care of. The staff was great about the whole situation. They apologized a hundred times and even hooked us up with a little extra fire wood. The gorge is walking distance and there's lots of hiking trails and shopping near by. I would definitely go back there someday.

Nice park to camp if you stay away from the street, otherwise you'll hear all the noise all day long... We thought it would be a much quite and hidden place. The hikes around are most like walks, you don't need much time to do it all (so we were a little disappointed about it because we thought we would really hike). Also the landscape was not that beautiful as they advertise. The river supposed to be clean enough to be able to swim, but honestly it was not that clean; it has some weird foam and some sort of oil in the edges... Be mindful and ask well before jumping in.

This was a great first impression of Quechee state park. So far the updates look great and the cabins are huge. The quarter slot showers are spacious and clean. Even the restrooms didn't have any cobbs. It's hugely pet friendly with doggie bags strategically placed throughout the campgrounds. Don't skip out on visiting the gorge right next door. There's a camp site entrance that makes for a convenient loop into the campsites, with bridges and water features along the way. Overall It was a phenomenal experience.

The state park campground was excellent. Very clean and well maintained sites. There are no electric sites, but that wasn't a problem. I just brought a small battery pack to charge phones and stuff. The sites were spacious and deep. The gorge itself was lovely to see. We hiked a couple trails and enjoyed the views. Not a place I'd stay for a week, unless you just want to enjoy the peaceful vibe of the campground. Otherwise, 3 days was plenty to look around and see the local sites.
