Pizza Chef of Quechee — Restaurant in Hartford

Clean restaurant and the mini golf greens themselves are well maintained. Hole numbers are faded or missing, ground lighting was broken, seemed like they put some work into sprucing up the course but not the scenery. I get the sense the owner is never there because the details (of the course) are a mess. 4 stars for the facility as a whole.

They lose a star for staff. There is a bar attached to the shack where you get mini golf clubs. We got our clubs but the girl didn't have 3 dollar bills to make change and had to walk to the restaurant for them. After our round of golf we walked up and asked her if we could get a beer. She was clearly too busy chatting with [what seemed like] a couple friends and eating something (but still clearly on-shift in the mini golf shack) and told us "right now you have to go inside for that." She was too busy chatting to be bothered. Very unprofessional.

When we did go inside for a beer, the bartender was nice and friendly but lacked in knowledge of their beers. Normally I wouldn't expect the bartender in an establishment like this to know much about the beers, but there's a big sign out front advertising 14 craft beers on tap. They make a point of it so she should be a little more familiar.

Facility gets 4 stars (particularly inside the restaurant part), bartender gets 3+, golf shack woman gets 1... 3 stars overall. Wouldn't return unless just for...

Called in an order at approximately 8:15 for a large pizza half-and-half two different things only five ingredients total. Pizza with chicken had hamburger possibly with onions and wrong sauce. Everything about it was wrong. Mozzarella sticks were cold and hard. Tried to call back at 8:50 with 10 minutes left on the clock they refused to pick up over five times. Screenshots available and taken every call when try to get incorrect order refunded or attended to They were horrible And made it worse by dodging the phone 10 minutes before they closed minimum

I have no faith they would’ve picked Up at quarter of- if I could give them a zero I would and I’ve lived down the road and ordered from them numerous times and it’s a consistent complaint

Food is good if you get the right thing

Avoid the boneless chicken breast they’re disgusting and not real

Save your money and just make a peanut butter and jelly cause if you get the wrong thing you’re just bent...

Decided to try Quechee Pizza Chef for takeout last night and it was delicious!! We ordered the Foliage pizza with vegan cheese and after having tried several other local vegan pizza options, have definitely found our new favorite. The crust was perfect, sauce and cheese were just right, and it was loaded with veggie toppings. YUM!! We will definitely be back for our next pizza fix.

I also went there a couple years ago for a work outing and had a similar experience, though I wasn't vegan at the time. Food was delicious, and it was summer so we got to sit outside in the back where they have a lovely mini golf course, outdoor bar area, and cornhole games. They also have a great selection...
