If you don't like long reviews just read the first couple of sentences, this company is great, you'll save a bunch of money, they're very knowledgeable, and they use FedEx for shipping. If you want some real details here they are, I live in Northeast Ohio and the spa company I purchased our hot Springs gleam from was very professional and showed us how to use the equipment, do all the chemical tests, all of the things you would expect. The second something needed to be replaced is when you really find out the true cost of ownership for one of these things. My tub is 550 gallons which is rather large, that means more chemicals, more moving parts, more everything. Every time I called my dealer out it was a $200 proposition for cheap plastic part and when I question that I got from song and dance about how far they have to drive and how expensive gas is. I guess they assume that I haven't been by a gas station in the last 10 years and know that fuel prices are cheaper than they've been in decades. The last time they were out I wanted the guy to replace the touchpad screen with the updated version because I felt it was not only more attractive but more functional. The part was $139 online, they quoted me $489 to replace it. So we are clear, there are 4 screws and a screen that plugs in with a cord. That's it. To make matters worse he told me that I need to purchase another filter for $120 (100 ft.²) as well as stock up on chlorine. I have been by my chlorine on Amazon and it's about half the price of the dealer, it never occurred to me to find a store online that sells authorized manufacture parts and do the work myself. Let me assure you of one thing, as long as it's not inside the cabinet where the high voltage is, you can do the work yourself for pennies on the dollar. Two points, the Moto jet massagers needed to be replaced. They last few years and then have to be replaced. My dealer quoted me almost $500 to replace them. True cost, $110. Two screws, five minutes of time, reinsert screws and you're done. I just replaced a jet for $27, estimate from dealer… $190. One more, $120 filter mentioned above.... Purchased from our friendly New Yorker friends in Yonkers for $79, delivered! Here's the bottom-line if you're too impatient to wait on hold and deal with a little aggravation while everyone in America is trying to buy parts for their spas and call your dealer and get ripped off. If you want to save a few dollars and feel like you can accomplish something on your own, be patient and contact these people, there is literally nothing they can't get for your tub and it will be at a fraction of what you'll pay from any dealer. My dealer actually removes the stickers from their parts bags so you can't purchase them online. That should tell you something, these people make a lot of money on service and that's okay for people who want to pay it. If you're reading this review is because you're trying to save some money and I'm trying to encourage you to work with this company. They are in fact the largest and oldest authorized hot Springs parts supplier in the country. If you have a hot Springs tub your crazy to buy filters and parts from your dealer. These people will deliver it right to your door using FedEx for fraction of what you would pay at your store. I apologize to anyone who may read this for the long review but I found just the time of negative reviews and all of them complaining about how long you have to wait on hold etc. It's noteworthy to mention that although they can get any part they don't stock every part. Don't order you what you need and get it to you as quickly as possible but you might have to wait a week to get it. If it's a routine part like a jet or a filter odds are you having a couple of days. I did. Give these guys a shot next time you need something, I think you be happy...
Read moreI called about #77119, Hot Springs heater relay board on Tuesday 12/18. I was informed part was in stock and would ship out today but I need to order online. I followed those instructions and ordered online. Because of local freezing temperatures I opted to go with OVERNIGHT SHIPPING. I was okay with paying $31.86 to get it here on WEDNESDAY. I did not receive until THURSDAY and the package was shipped TWO-DAY PRIORITY MAIL which is considerably cheaper. In fact the difference in shipping prices is $23.48. I called them directly AND contacted them via website and have been completely ignored. So I was overcharged by $23.48 for shipping and they won't return a call or email. Good replacement part, TERRIBLE...
Read moreI didn't give them 5 stars becauase my very first order, 1 of the 3 items was incorrect and took numerous calls to get someone on the line. I kept getting their voicemail system. Once they did answer they provided me immediately with a return label and indicated they will ship me out the correct item asap. If they do I will revise to 4 stars. They do need more customer service people to handle their...
