I’ve been waiting for a not too hot but also not too cold Wednesday to try out this Hayward “water park” and today was that! We’ve been to this park before water fountain season started and honestly didn’t even get out of the car. It turns out thought that my kids enjoyed the non water features more 😅 (of course they did) The water area is fun and includes squirt canons, water fountains from the floor, spinning seats, rocks for climbing and bottomless sideless slides that lead into the sunken “pool” (it doesn’t really fill up like a pool but it’s where all the action happens) Near the splash pad is the play area with suspended lily pads, small rock wall, ladder arch, suspended seats. There’s a sandbox without sand 🤨 and a swing set with standard and bucket swings. Close by is the bathroom and plenty of picnic tables. On the other side of the splash pad is a small section with boulders for climbing, big circles tops for hoping, and a spinning silver ball. Beyond this area is a small skate park and a half basketball court. Around all of the play areas there are shaded benches. This park also has so much grass and two ball fields. Street parking (pull in on Burbank st, lot on Martin Luther King Dr, and parallel bars on B street. Water is on at the splash pad Wednesdays and weekends 11-5 (it’s sometimes turned on during extra hot days)

I’m glad we got to try this place but I think CV community park is a way better choice for a day at the park if you want water...

It is a good park but this park is not only for people who lives in the area but for other homeless people too who always mess up the restrooms. And i see a lot of thugs there too. School days is worst. People park in the red curb which is totally unacceptable coz it's causes terrible traffic. People is really behaving badly in there. And we don't even know if the water is good for our kids. NOPE SORRY BUT I DON'T...

1st time coming here . The Park is nice and all fun for the kids and picnic area a plus. But a lot of people smoking here. Kind off making it hard for a smoke free environment and lots of cigarettes butts on the play area not so great for little kids. They should more strict when it comes to smoking related issues. Also they have a no sign dog which is kind of sad because it would be nice to have a section for...
