Guadalajara Tacos — Restaurant in Hayward

The agua de fresas con crema from Taqueria Guadalajara is, without a doubt, one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. It’s so good that I’ve gone to the taqueria just for the water at least 20 times, and every time, it has been consistently delicious. The blend of fresh strawberries and cream creates a rich, smooth texture that’s perfectly sweet without being overpowering. It’s refreshing, indulgent, and just the right balance of creamy and fruity.

While I’ve tried the food at Taqueria Guadalajara and always enjoyed it, the agua de fresas con crema is what keeps me coming back. It’s not just me, either. I’ve shared the small, sealed version with several of my loved ones, and everyone who’s tried it has loved it just as much. The fact that they offer a sealed size makes it easy to gift or take on the go, which is a huge plus.

If you’re a fan of strawberry flavored drinks, this is a must try. It’s miles ahead of any artificial strawberry milk or smoothie you can taste the real fruit and the care that goes into making it. Today I order about 200 dollars worth of food (as always when I visit) but today was the worst service ever for a loyal customer. The fat ugly eyebrow messed up glasses 4 eyes Gorda pendja new hire, first she said there was no more fresa water, when in reality, the customer behind order exactly the same thing and she said they did have it. She was rude overall, didn't care about her job, when asked politely she responded with attitude. Gave us flimsy cup holders even thou we requested another one to make it sturdy because we had 4 large drinks and she denied us. She replied "those will work " but the cup holder failed spilling all the drinks outside and in my car. We let her know and she said "there's nothing I can do about it" with attitude. We asked for napkins to clean up the mess and replied " they are right there in front of your face" when there were none there. She step outside to throw garbage out and gave even more attitude while we were cleaning. Acted stupid and walked away. Not to mention her co workers were yelling for not providing customer service at the front. We will be returning as a loyal customer, but hope...

First time at TG, so I asked the cashier for recommendations. She suggested the shrimp and fish tacos, which sounded like a good idea. Actually, it was shrimp or fish, not both in one. I went ahead and got one of each, and honestly can't decide which was better. The fish was flakey, tasted fresh, and the batter was light and had a nice crunch. The shrimp was in large pieces, the seasoning was delicious and balanced. Next time I might just have to flip the shrimp taco onto the fish and eat it that way. I usually get tacos at my neighborhood Mexican grocery store's taqueria; the tacos at TC are huge in comparison, and are simply amazing.

One of the menu items was Torta Cubano. I don't go to Mexican restaurants as much as I would like, so don't know if that's a common item. But, that sandwich is on my "must try" list.
