First visit for my cousin and I. Decided to come here based on the reviews for paraffin wax and basic manicure. We chose our colors, got seated and given our choice of complementary beverage. Nice touch. Before applying the polish the lady (later found out she was the co owner … I think her name was Sara don’t know because she didn’t introduce herself) asked me where my color choice was. Someone else returned it back to the shelf so I had to search for the colors I had chosen. I felt the service was rushed. Massage was short on one side and even shorter on the other side. She didn’t even put the top coat and went to service a woman who walked in. It was obvious she was a return customer. The lady servicing my cousin ended up putting top coat on my nails after she was finished with my cousin. Waited at least 30 min but that top coat was not drying. My cousin finally got the attention of the lady who did her nails and she realized that it was not drying. It was still tacky, the polish smeared and was asked to choose another color and because the product was defective. She took all the polish off and repolished her nails. I asked for them to check my nails and Sara checked my thumb and left a big imprint on the nail. She put polish over my pinky nail and pushed a fan to dry the pinky but right into the other nails. Now those nails needed to be fixed! She applied more polish to the thumbnail which looked horrible! Michael the owner (her husband/parner) came to check and told her to redo the thumb. She realizes she can't fix it and tells me to choose another color because the products I choose were bad. A fairly new, nice looking salon with bad products? Coincidence that the 3 colors we chose were all bad? I believe the product were fine but used a gel topcoat. There was no need to remove all the polish, only thumb and pinky. Sara and the other lady both take my hands and start removing the polish against my will. By this time we’ve been there almost 2 hours! I just want to get out of there at this point. I didn’t want to anything on my nails but they start putting clear coat. I tell them I will not pay for this manicure. I was willing to pay for the wax. Michael hears this and says that my services received would be free. Sara hears this and says I should pay $10. I agree to give her $10. Michael again says my services are free. Sara approaches me to my face rudely demands me I should now pay $25. I feel threatened by Sara I tell her I will now take Michael on his offer and pay nothing. I wait outside for my cousin. Come back inside to hear Michaels raised voice toward my cousin, She didn’t expect free services but at least some kind of compensation for her inconvenience. Sara will not let up and starts to approach me again and insist I pay! RELAX Sara. Finally we’re out of there. NOT over yet… OK… my mistake… I left my watch with all this fiasco. I call the next day to tell them I left my watch and will be there to pick it up later. Sara answered the call and literally starts yelling at me AGAIN about not paying. Pay for the worst service EVER. NOT. I’m entering an environment I’m not comfortable so I start to video and make sure she returns my property. She tells me to stop the video. I show her I stopped recording. Then she tells me to delete the recording. I stop recording and still does not give me my watch. She dangles it in front of my face! At this point I snatched it out of her hands and she tells the whole salon “This woman did not pay for her service yesterday “ Sara is so RUDE! This did not have to happen . You could have just admitted that you used the wrong top coat. If your products are bad then your inventory needs to be replenished. Future customers beware! Sara needs a course in anger management and listen to her co-owner when a decision is made and not harass patrons. Worst customer service and would not...
Read moreThis place has great reviews. I dont really know why. Maybe because noone really post bad reviews. Well this time I am. I got my nails done on Sunday - Gel. A nail peeled off on Monday. I called all day Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday no answer. Left messages noone called back. I figured no worries I'll just swing by early Saturday because I leave town on Sunday. I go in...the young woman at the desk tells me that there is noone who can help me today can I come back Monday. I told her I leave town Sunday. She was young so i asked if her manager (Mike). Mike comes out and says can come back tomorrow at 2. I tell him t I leave early tomorrow. He's now irritated and telling me that he cant help me today. That I should've called. I told him I did call several times and left a message. This irritated him. He finally tells me he can take me in a couple of hours. I want return. The reason I decided not to go back and leave this review - I am a paying customer if I come back for an issue that is not my fault, I should not be dismissed and talked to in a manner that suggest that their failure is some how my fault. Read moreI heard about their grand opening from a friend and decided to check it out, especially because their prices are a little cheaper than where I usually go. I made an appointment for my sister, my two nieces and myself. We all got pedicures, the nieces and I got manicures as well.
The shop is huge with about 10 massage pedicure chairs with an attached screen to all of them to choose your massage type... fancy! They offer various pedicure packages starting at $25 and up. They also have a bar in the corner with drinks and snacks available to their customers. There's floor to ceiling windows all around to let in a great amount of natural lighting.
Okay, back to the service. The ladies as well as the owner Mike are all super friendly. Jessica did my regular polish pedicure and Sarah did my gel manicure, and let me tell you the leg massage did not disappoint. I'll admit I fell asleep for a quick minute. My nails turned out amazing and are pretty and prepped for my upcoming cruise vacation!
