My wife and I visited Aldinas winery at Bacchus Landing as our second wine tasting experience in Sonoma County and immediately felt welcomed and at home. We went to another winery a few minutes away beforehand and while we enjoyed a very beautiful vista we felt rushed and like the service was a bit over-stated (and the wine wasn’t that great). Our server at Aldinas, I think named Reiland, on the other hand was approachable, relaxed and knowledgeable. He welcomed us in with a smile, and casually gave us general background on the establishment itself (opened by the original owners of Lowrider Magazine), and the wines they produce. The ambience was really friendly, with comfortable lounging areas that allowed a large family, a group of 4 or 5 women and my wife and I to relax around one another without getting in each others way. I’m no wine connoisseur, but I walked away from the experience feeling better informed about the wine I enjoyed (each one was distinct and felt really original) without ever feeling foolish for not knowing what I didn’t know coming in. And at the end, we got a chance to thank Dina (half of the Al-Dina partnership), and she was just as gracious and friendly...
Read moreWe booked this tasting through Tock, not really knowing the wines or location but they had amazing reviews on their wines. It did not disappoint! Our group of 6 had an amazing experience. My younger siblings had their first wine tasting experience here and they couldn’t have had a better experience.
The Bacchus Landing area is beautiful. Very clean and spacious. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating.
At Aldina, the hospitality from Monica and Dina was incredible. They made my siblings feel welcomed and would walk them through the wine tasting experience for newcomers. The Cabs were amazing and the blend was delicious! I couldn’t resist and signed up to be a wine-club member. Looking forward to tasting more wines in the future.
Gracias...
Read moreEnjoyed seeing the new space for Aldina with a communal tasting room. Nice to see that the space also has great outdoor seating, a wine related store, and an event space.
It was also great to see Francisco and Monica who now run the winery named for their parents. Beautiful tasting room and we enjoyed sitting at the bar. Tasted some great wine especially their Cabernet Sauvignons and also learned about Journeyman Meat Co. run by a Seghesio family member.
Will definitely be back and will bring more Aldina...
