I selfishly don't want to rank these thrift gems too high, lest they become main stream and over-crowded. This is a pay-by-the-pound Goodwill Outlet which is basically a free-for-all grabfest in a sea of giant blue bins teeming with Goodwill store leftovers or "can't sell" items. Lots and lots and lots of junk, but if you're savvy and patient, you can dig up some treasures. Definitely not for your run-of-the-mill thrift browser who is used to organized merchandise with price tags. It's a shitshow adventure!

Always an adventure with what you will find. Just a tip of good will and common courtesy: "if someone has a shoe in their hand and is looking for the other and you then find it...do the right thing and hand it to them since they had it first." I am sure they would do the same if the shoe was on the other hand (pun intended).

This is a bins location and not your typical goodwill store. With that being said, you will find some amazing gems if your are willing to take the time to stop and look. My favorite hobby is spending the day digging and seeing what treasures I can find.

When this location opened, we enjoyed it. It was better run than the other location in North Versailles. They didn't seem to allow the same types of behavior here, which we appreciated. Now, it's turning into exactly the type of store as North Versailles They allow people to pile carts full of stuff off to the side, taking up the carts so other shoppers can't use them. This wasn't condoned in the past. The last two times we were there, it was like a playground for unruly, unsupervised kids. I love kid, I don't love almost hitting them with my cart because they're riding scooters around the store or playing in the bins! Yes, playing in those dirty bins. Today, we actually saw a woman pick her kid up and put her in the bins to play. How gross! There's broken glass and lord knows what else in there. The employees seem to not care what shoppers do. Since this one is going the way of the North Versailles location, complete with the "shoe grabbers," we doubt we'll be back. It'll be just as ghetto as the other location soon enough. I highly suggest that management get some control over the store before it goes to hell in...

Moving back to the 'burgh from Florida and have shopped at several FL Goodwill Outlets (yes, I refer to them as "dumpster dives"). First time at such a place, I swore you couldn't pay me to go back. But, I found such great bargains, I did go back. And became addicted to these places!!! WEAR GARDEN TYPE GLOVES or you can get cut and also a lot of items are dirty, grimy, sticky, etc. I also wear a fanny pack so don't have to worry about lugging a purse in there. It is now the most fun thing for me to do and great to stimulate my creativity in my Etsy creations! Kinda like acquiring a taste for the environment... so don't be too quick to judge. Give it a go and look at it like a treasure hunt! Can't wait to check out this one in person, but going by the pics, looks similar to the ones I visit down here. Can someone share what the going prices are by the pound...

Went downhill after it opened. Used to love shopping here, but then in their lazy minds decided to go with this bin system. There is zero orgranization. Want a pair of mens pants? Good luck with spending 30+ minutes digging through bins and trying to find not only a pair of mens pants, but ones in your size only to walk away after almost an hour with nothing but frustration if they don't have your size.

Before this, it was a simple 5 minute look at the mens pant's section. We used to donate stuff to them all the time, but now we go out of our way to go to another thrift store to donate items.

Not to mention from hearing horror stories from other people, they seem to have a issue with bedbugs being found in the clothing, because they have hiding spots and customers allowing kids to climb all...
