Probably safest family friendly park I've visited so far ( me and my family recently moved from many States away to start new life and obtain life-saving medical care for wife, so we're slowly experiencing Pittsburgh areas for first time).
You have a mega-pool, water slides, tons of clean kids playground equipment. Multiple basketball and tennis courts.
Awesome parking options!
Deck hockey, baseball fields. Corn-hole games!! BBQ and shelter areas (I've seen b-days, family reunions held there. )
Oh and soda pop machines (they need to do better keeping them stocked though).

Read moreI’m so impressed with Scott Township Park! The park itself is beautiful and so large! There are plenty of picnic areas, multiple playgrounds, buildings, basketball courts, and a lovely pool. The grounds are well cared for and the park is the perfect spot for families to hang out and enjoy a picnic. I was really impressed with the playgrounds and how they catered to all ages of kids. Read moreGreat park! But no dogs allowed:(. We were visiting from Seattle and had our dog with us. Something we've noticed as we have traveled east is that many parks have "no dogs" policy. What are you supposed to do when traveling and taking the kids to the park? You can't leave them in the car. Seems like there needs to be understanding that if dogs are on the leash and the owner picks up the poop, it's ok to have them...
