This store makes you feel like a kid in a candy shop! ~ The selection is interesting, from the most basic offerings, to the quirky, to niche, to just bizarre. But it somehow all comes together and makes sense, and it's affordable. [It's a better deal and better selection than say, Dollar General. Not a better deal, but a wider selection and more varied interests than Dollar Tree.]
You could go here for Christmas shopping and simple holiday shopping. And then there's things like treats you won't find most places, and books that surprise you- I found two anxiety journals and a book on triggers just when I needed them. It was quite unexpected. I was also very tempted but like a dozen T-shirts this time around. ~ Examples of selection: shirts, shoes, makeup, games, arts and crafts, activity kits, basic cat and dog supplies, books and journals, sweets, exercise equipment, holiday/seasonal items, etc
I imagine it'd be a bit of a nightmare in a wheelchair but I haven't tried it.
So I'd rate the organization, navigation, and accessibility 2.5/5, the customer service 5/5 (I've loved every employee every time), the selection 4/5, and the...
ย ย ย Read moreI love this store, but of course there is always the good and bad. I call it the younger kids "Spencer". I haven't found a kid yet that doesn't absolutely love this store. I usually take my kids' friends here to pick out their own birthday gifts and ect. They also have some awesome shirts for only $5 and you can't beat that! The down sides/bads for me is the mess, always seems like a bus load of kids just left or something(maybe it's just this store). So much stuff does not have prices(yes, it's all $5 or less but I want and need to know the price). Some of there $5 items(and other item prices) you can get for less other places. Lastly, try to check reviews of somethings or at least understand it's a $5 item so don't expect great. We've gotten to many things that I should have known were to good to be true for only $5. This is my 2ยข and it can be said about any store. Just giving my true review. I still love Five Below and will continue to shop and take the...
ย ย ย Read moreIf you like a lot of noise, kids and chaos, this is the place for you. When you walk in the door all the cashiers (usually about 5) all shout out - "Hello welcome to Five Below" it's nice to be acknowledged but it's a little over the top when they all yell at the same time. The store is usually a little crowded, however it is organized, just lots and lots of stuff. The quality of the products is about what you pay for but since there is so much to choose from I usually end up spending a lot more than I intended. The kids really love this store so I go more often than I would if kids weren't involved. The Tee shirts and pajama bottoms are super soft, one of the kids even state this is their favorite store to get tee shirts. It's worth the trip with all the happy faces. A great place to get cheap...
