We purchased 6 appliances from them at the same time and waited over 60 days for the appliances to arrive. However, when they did, the stove was completely crushed. They had to send it back and order a new one and it took 3 more weeks to receive it. (It’s in good condition and installed as of today)
Everything else looked good for the first delivery except we could not check the W/D since our laundry room was going through a renovation and could not be installed yet. The installation guys highly recommended we wait to unbox the two units to protect them from drywall dust and anything else. They sat in my garage, unmoved for two - three weeks. This past weekend we were able to unbox and install the W/D but we discovered two massive dents in the washing machine (we have the 5 year warranty as well). We left it still in its packaging and called Home Depot. Upon calling Home Depot, they said we had to call Samsung. Samsung sent out a technician and confirmed this was damage caused by the installers and that I’d have to contact Home Depot. Home Depot is saying that it has to be inspected within 48 hours to “qualify” to have it returned or replaced, and that despite spending 10k on appliances, we’d have to live with the damage to the washing machine.
In addition, one the first delivery date, the guys told us they couldn’t install the microwave because the backsplash was missing, but they would install it when the new stove came in. Today when they were going to install the stove (and we had the backsplash in) they said they can’t install it because they aren’t allowed to drill through tile. So now we still don’t have the microwave installed.
My point is this, once your order the appliance from HD they basically wash their hands of the order and direct you to the company of the brand of appliance you purchased. Even for the stove being damaged, I had to go through Samsung to get anything despite having ordered the appliance from Home Depot. As a frequent shopper of both Home Depot and Lowe’s, especially through our company account, I’d recommend simply using Lowe’s as we don’t seem to run into this...

I'm leaving this review online for people to know what the Hendersonville, Tennessee Home Depot (#0735) did to a 16-year employee who also happens to be my husband.
Frank Torres was suspended from Home Depot on 8.12.22 because a female worker claimed he "touched her" and made her feel "very uncomfortable".
I called Home Depot on the same evening and spoke to Chuck asking if he knew the employee's name and he responded that he doesn't know what's going on. I then asked the manager's name. I ended the call to Chuck stating that Frank would be there the next day to talk to Matt.
We both find it odd that the situation happened over TWO WEEKS ago and Matt, the Home Depot manager, finally decides to confront Frank with this in his office AROUND TWO WEEKS later.
Frank was suspended without pay and had to use his vacation time during this ongoing investigation.
Things took another shady turn.
On Thursday, August 25th, Frank spoke to Katie and told her that we had contacted the Corporate office. Corporate office said that it only takes 24 to 72 hours to get back to the employee regarding an incident. So what's going on here isn't correct protocol. SUDDENLY the next morning on August 25th, at 10:00 a.m., Matt called Frank. He stated that there was nothing on the video regarding the touching but will still fire Frank due to policy issues of what he allegedly said to the female employee.
Notice that Matt waited to call Frank after hearing that the Corporate office was contacted.
Also notice that no tape was found of Frank "touching" the employee, but the manager believed what she said anyway. If the tape doesn't show the touching proving that the employee lied, it should be reasonable that the employee also lied in regards to her statement.
I'm legally blind and needed to move out of state for better services with the Division of the Blind. Now this can't happen as we are unable to obtain a mortgage without a job or a current job of a...
Read moreI had just been to Lowes where they have a GE Profile all in one washer. I went to Home Depot where I asked if they would price match. I only did this because we had a 15% off purchase coupon HD had sent in the mail for our new house purchase.
The associate was instantly reluctant and said it has to be the same item. I said it is they only make 2 machines like this. He looked at Lowes model number and then their and said oh theirs has an "L" and ours has a "H" at the end. Yep "L" Lowes and "H" Home Depot. He was like no they have a difference. I showed GE's site, only 2 models made.
He calls a manager but was saying it was a different model to her. She said no. I ask to speak to Maria. I explained everything to her.
Maria and associate started to whisper back and forth as they were looking at the computer. All of a sudden Maria, in a voice like she won, says "yeah they are different so we won't be able to price match!" Ours has a 50oz detergent cup. That is standard equipment. I said you seriously went line by line to find one thing that HD listed and Lowes didn't?
She said again, I can't price match it they are different. I turned around walked away and said your decision just cost HD more than this 10% off. I said I will be speaking with the store manager and the 800 number. I'll give you $50 off. Uh no thanks.
Store manager was already gone for the day. Left my info to call me the following day. 3p next day still no call.
800 number was no use either. Didn't listen to me just called store and sided with them and wouldn't take my complaint.
Glad I get to boycott HD again for another year or more like last time. Way to save the business money Maria. $180 now will cost thousands of loss. I'm even taking my patio set back that was $1800 and delivered the day this all happened.
