HORRIBLE DESERVES 0 stars. Me & my family decided to go out for Cinco De Mayo & i chose this place because i had been here with food club & enjoyed it. First let me start by saying this was the worst dining experience i’ve ever had. To start our party consisted of 6 adults, a 2 year old & a 1 year old. It is also important to note that i am the only person that has been here before. We were seated and ordered our food. They came out with most of our food with the exception of 2 people. I noticed my order was wrong(number 8 with chicken) i received beef instead. I politely notified the waiter & this visibly irritatd him because he rolled his eyes, huffed & rudely walked away. The people who already got their food are eating. Suddenly the waiter comes back and says to one of our party “thats her food” The waiter proceeds to tell him that he’s eating the wrong order so he replied “ this is the order they gave me so i thought it was mine but i’ll just keep this order & my original order since i’ve already eaten half of it” (Its important to note that they both ordered similar items one with & one without tomatoes so it was an honest mistake) So about 10 minutes pass & she still has not gotten her food so we asked him about it & he said “well he ate her food” i proceed to explain that he is just going to keep it and pay for it & his correct order but she still needs her order. The waiter rudely walked away & returned with a thin bald gentleman who they said was the manager(not pictured in slide) I explained the situation to which he replied “well why did he eat her food? I’m sure the waiter called out the order before he gave it to you” At this point i’m shocked because what kind of manager blames the customer & refuses to bring her order? Another guy comes pretends to help & walks off & they all (about 4 other employees are gathered near our table at this point) started making racists remarks, & mocking us in Spanish not knowing that a person in out party is fluent in Spanish. At this point we are all upset & ask for our checks so we can just go! Why they refused her order...

Outstanding food and outstanding service!!!

My husband and I relocated to Tennessee from Missouri, and we were looking for a place to replace our favorite Mexican restaurant in St. Louis, "El Agave." This is it, but even better!

Walking in we very much appreciated the authenticity of the Mexican culture: From the greeting, to the decor, down to the music. Our waiter was very friendly and VERY professional. He was prompt with taking our order, he smiled, and even complimented what a beautiful family we were. What really made me feel good is knowing that although they were pretty busy on a Friday night, the server made it a point to tailor his service to make us feel like we were the only ones in the room. That, my friends is EXCELLENT customer service! :)

The restrooms were clean, so were the tables and the floors. They have a very wide variety of options to choose from. I had three cheese enchiladas with rice and beans and my husband had the same. Their products are Vegetarian friendly and so is the menu. For two people I would estimate the price to be around $45, with cocktails included. The best value would be to get more than one of anything - Such as a taco combo or enchilada combo. Also the queso dip is the BOMB!!! We enjoyed the food SO MUCH, we joked that there had to be someone's grandmama in the back cooking all this good food! LOL we used to only get take out for here because our 7 month old can be very vocal in public. But seeing how family orientated and how amazing the servers were with tables with kids, we will definitely be dining in more often. :) This place gets a 10 out of 10 in our books. Thank you for your...

I accidently ordered lunch by phone to wrong restaurant. I was working next to the one on Anderson Ln. When I went to pick it up, the host, a young man, was kind and said they had no orders. He told me I probably called into wrong place. So he called over an older man, probably manager. Not sure. After he called the other location and verified he said I could go there and pick it up, or it would take him 15 min to prepare. Well, I am on clock working in same complex and I am not allowed to leave. So I explained that. He then turned very rude, and continues to explain they will have to throw it away and waste the food. I get that disappointment. I hate wasting food myself. He was extremely rude.. I had planned on calling and paying for food I wasted anyway, he didnt give me a chance to even say that.. When my food bought to be in a bag, he was very curt when I said thank you. Made it clear he was very mad.. It was an honest mistake.. I assurs you, will not happen again since I will never go of order from there again..Food was not great either,...

If you're in the mood for bland, flavorless, and ridiculously over-cheesed Mexican food, this is the place for you! It's been a long time since I just didn't eat something I ordered, today was one of those days... Food was disappointing. Bland and WAY too much cheese, like an obscene amount. Pic is chili rellenos with what's supposed to be a chicken enchilada(was ground beef), refried beans and about a cup of cheese dumped on top. Also ordered a fish ceviche... Fish was definitely just baked in the oven and mixed with some pico, no lime, very little salt. Cilantro was the only thing that saved it. The service was fine. Was a little disappointing when the server asked if the food was ok, I let him know it wasn't, and got charged for it anyway. No biggie, it was just obvious I barely touched it. Average, very average.

Casa Vieja is my go-to Mexican restaurant! I go at least once a week, and the food is consistently flavorful and delicious. Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Hendersonville! I love their chicken fajita nachos, the chicken chimichanga, and their margaritas! Edit: Alexander was our server today, and he was so sweet, attentive, and made great menu recommendations! Thank you, Alexander!

It's hard not to overdo it on the chips and salsa- the staff keeps the bowls filled! But save your appetite! On tonight's table: tacos, enchiladas and a big ol' quesadilla. The restaurant was filled with families but it did not keep our server from giving us great service. Casa Vieja (either location) is a good choice for groups of any size.
