Red Fox Gaming — Attraction in Hickory

Amazing find of a retro game store. I always used to frequent Video Game World in Huntersville, but it's pretty far from where I live, so it's hard to make trips up there.

I just so happened to remember hearing about this place when I had a few minutes to kill before a movie, and I'm so glad I did. It's a very small location, but they have a very wide variety, and have pretty fair prices. Everything seemed to be at least a couple bucks cheaper than going through eBay, with the added benefit of supporting a local game store, and being able to inspect the product beforehand.

I was especially shocked to see how many amiibo they have brand new in box. A really great spot that I highly recommend if you have time to kill.

I'm just super happy to have found an awesome retro store...

For anyone interested in video games, especially concerning older models such as the Play Station or Playstation 2, this store is certainly the one to stop at.

Walking into the store, it's almost as if you've entered into a GameStop who's made it their mission to preserve older systems. They have Xbox, Playstation, and old handheld games as well, such as the NintendoDS, though I do not recall seeing any of those systems available for purchase.

They have a huge collection of Pops, as well as some figurines for avid anime fans.

The staff of the store were very helpful and attentive.

Love this place! The people who work here make sure that you have an amazing experience every time you enter the door!
