Went last Sunday!!!!!!! Okay went in with my 2 1/2 yr.old expecting the same fun we always have only to see new stuff had replaced the old.....Okay this could be fun...so we go to the little kids carrousel, and the time is cut short now, bummer! then we see the African safari ride is gone to be replaced by a boring space ship ride that does not move around or isn't any fun, I got a look like that's all mommy....The Chuck E Cheese car ride witch takes a picture while you ride was broken AS ALWAYS....And the new simulator with the 3 choices, got boring after we did all three...sucks.... The new apple catch game is way to fast for anyone to catch any apples and you don't get any tickets at the end for all the effort...what's that??? Skeet ball was good this time at least we get all our balls now. Chuck E Cheese, please!!!!!!!! bring back rides so smaller kids will have fun on again....these new ones I mention are not worth playing...my daughter was disappointed.....and the carrousel ride should last as long as it use too!!!....I come there almost every week and I was very disappointed at what you have for smaller children now!. They grow up with Chuck E Cheese and I don't want to find a better place for her to go...She loves Chuck E!!! This is to let all the "moms" out there know the change recently is not for the better!!!! if you have small kids, I'm sorry...cause I also love taking my almost 3yr.old there! Feb.- 25-2014 We went on Sunday to discover all the changes...good...
Read moreUnorganized from the time we walked in for our grandsons 8th birthday last Sunday. Long table was set but our cake, which was pre-ordered, was not baked and ready. Server was very helpful trying to make things right. In the service industry, we understand the old saying " don't shoot the messenger" when it's not their fault. At the salad bar, (8.99) not worth the price, I waited 5 minutes for someone to find more spinach. Someone didn't know where it was or was out picking it. My wife likes a little lemon/juice in her water and there was neither, for the last 2 years.according to a manager. They also serve un/sweet tea and no lemon of any kind. Don't quite understand that. Guess we have to bring our own if we ever go back. Probably not. Pizzas are good but the food is overpriced. Seems they put a lot of emphasis on in-store marketing. FOH servers do à good job and put out fires they shouldn't have to. We were à party of 13 and the bill was over $300. 3 pizzas, 4 salad bars & 11 drinks. The birthday boy and his 3 friends had fun, unlimited games for 2 hours, but we probably won't go back and he'll want to go somewhere else next year. Not because of our issues, but he had his CEC experience. The last 5 years we've gone to our local volunteer firehouse (no charge) and he had a blast. Not because it's a lot cheaper, but he and his friends got to ride in a firetruck and use the firehoses. CEC is a good place for kids to have fun if the parents don't mind footing a...
Read moreFood is disgusting with the exception of the salad bar. Alcohol is extremely overpriced. Games are dirty and table booths are made for another species or something because they aren't comfortable or big enough for humans, unless you are under age ten. It always smells weird inside. Younger staff, not very giddy or personable. The jungle gym play thing that kids climb up into smells of cleaning product and urine. Prizes cost too many tickets, you have to spend 80 to 100 dollars to have the opportunity to win enough tickets to acquire a decent prize. All of the less costly prizes are dollar store quality. You may as well get it from Dollar General and pay 1.00 instead of paying 15 bucks for coins to get enough tickets for that 1.00 prize. I know it is fun for kids but think about the system places like this use, they are like fairs. Theives, using a well constructed rip off system that appeals to youth and subjects parents to waste hard earned cash. I know businesses need to make money to operate, but there are more ethical and less seedy ways to do so. Not my favorite place to visit.
EDIT ATTENTION CHUCKY CHEESE (Comment below this), I feel as though I have given plenty of details. I'm not interested in a customer service complaint/ resolution scenario. I am interested in my review being relayed to the COO ( chief operating officer). I'd like to see the company evaluate its procedures, operations, ethics, and token/ticket/prize system-then respond with resolutions and...
