Amazing Japan, Anime, Household & Gift Shop — Attraction in Hillsboro

This place is amazing!!! 😃 My daughter and I love coming here and buying pokemon stuffed animals, and we have quite the collection now! We love browsing they're diverse collection of stickers, authentic japanese pokemon cards, and mugs! We got my daughter these amazing little hedgehog slippers from there that she wears everyday! And I got my wife these all-purpose kitchen knives that seriously can cut anything!

Also, their customer service is amazing!!! Very very friendly! We talk to the owner every time, and he's always very generous to us too! He also requested specific stock for us, which we obviously got when it came in, and keeps us updated on the new items coming in!

My family loves shopping here, and it's now become a tradition for our family to go! My daughter looks forward to it every week! We rate this place a very high 11 out of 10! There are so many cool things here for everyone, so come...

I was hoping to find some really good otaku spots in the Portland area so I checked out this place. The housewares are really cute; you can find nice dinnerware and materials to make bento boxes, as well as specialized cooking gadgets, which can be quite useful. My main focus was on the anime stuff and I wasn't surprised that most of it is geared toward current, popular anime series. I tend to go for classic series collectibles and Sanrio. Mostly I wanted to shop genuine Japanese brands, manga, and figures but was disappointed that the majority of it is off-brand chinese imports. It's great for kids and teens and definitely...

I actually really love this store. And have shopped here many times. On this last trip I was charged way beyond what the total should have been. I read a previous review regarding this also. Make sure you are paying attention to your total and not in a rush at checkout. I love the selection and am happy to give smaller specialty shops business but if I return, I'll be much more careful and cautious at checkout.
