I write this review to increase awareness on how to exercise good, equitable customer service to all members of the community . On my way into work, I decided to stop at this business for the first time. Unfortunately, it will be my last solely based on how I was treated. After placing my to-go order, I sat at one of the tables and waited for my order. I waited for about 8 minutes. Once I received my order I sat for an additional 3 minutes to finish a work email I started sending. During this time the cashier captured my attention by referring to me as "lady" and rudely asked if me there was anything else I needed. I replied no and she seemed annoyed. From "lady", the whole interaction left me confused as to why I was being treated this way= as if I were loitering! Having grown up in a family business, I know first hand this is just now how you treat a customer. This is not a sit down restaurant, it's a cafe where people either stay and sit down to eat their food or take it to go. I noted that you are celebrating a 25 year anniversary as a business- being that you are in a predominantly minority community, those are the primary customers who have chosen to give you business and I choose this morning- make sure you treat them right despite any biases you may have! Like most people, I don't take the time to write reviews unless great or terrible service. There is no room for disrespectful...

Nice soothing decor- table service with a smile.. if you're treating yourself to the freshest natas anywhere around - custard filled puff-pastry tartines and other hard-to-find Portuguese specialty desserts and a delightful array of breakfast/lunch sandwiches and platters- this will be for you just the beginning.
All selections on their menu are very reasonable in price- you can't pick a better place for a cubano or chorizo and egg sandwich (traditional mini sub-hero type bun baked fresh daily). Their espresso and coffee is top-grade, as are all the other fantastic tastes put into your meals and take out baked goods. You feel the love these folks in satisfying you to the best you can imagine each time you visit.
A must is the LENTIL soup. Add a few drops of whit or white wine vinegar for a real tangy addition to a wonderful melody of veggies and perfectly cooked lentils in a deliciously delicate broth. You'll absolutely want to...
Read moreI would come here frequently and never had any issues with what i purchase. It's always the same items i purchase. One time the fruit pastery was molded. I came back and showed them it was molded. They apologized and i accepted it. I continue to come back and today for the 2nd time I am very displeased and disgusted with the turkey sandwhich i ordered today. It smelled and tasted horrible. Same sandwich i always order and they going to tell me it's the provolone cheese. I've always had the same sandwhich so i know it's not the provolone cheese. When you use a rag amd don't wash it nor clean properly it will sustain a very unpleasant order! So please check your sandwhiches and make sure it does not smell. I will no longer come here and just want to let anyone and everyone know to please smell ypur sandwhiches when dealing with...
