Hilton Head Pottery — Attraction in Hilton Head Island

Really have enjoyed this family-owned and run business for many years! Our girls (now grown up) attended kids camps in the summers being all creative and had a blast! Now, I am on my 3rd session of pottery classes and am hooked. Their studio is so fun, full of nice and helpful people, and even if you don't feel you are the "artist type" you will feel at home and comfortable. Joey is an excellent teacher and super patient. I just finished the entry-level wheel throwing class and it was great fun. Joey was a fantastic teacher with lots of knowledge. He was helpful and hands-on with everyone learning for the first time. You go at your own pace, making (or destroying) as many pieces during the six-week course. There was even a challenging blind-fold session. I signed up my 8 and 10 year old grandchildren for this class, not really knowing what to expect, but looking for an entertaining, indoor activity. Hands down this was their favorite part of the day!
