Pirates of Hilton Head — Attraction in Hilton Head Island

This was the best ever! If you have children, you must book this adventure for a truly memorable experience. From start to finish, every aspect of this pirate-themed adventure was absolutely incredible.

The staff deserves special recognition for their outstanding performance. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the most enthusiastic crew members,they helped the kids get dressed in pirate attire gave out funny name tags, tattoos, and face paint. They instantly made us feel like part of the pirate crew, setting the tone for an exciting and immersive experience.

The highlight of the adventure was undoubtedly the real pirate ship. It was an awe-inspiring sight for both children and adults alike. The attention to detail was exceptional, making it feel as though we had stepped into a real-life pirate movie. The ship created an authentic atmosphere that transported us back in time, fueling our imaginations and sense of adventure.

The interactive elements between the crew and guests were nothing short of amazing. The crew members made sure everyone was engaged and entertained throughout the journey. They cleverly incorporated water blasts into the experience, adding an element of surprise and delight. The energy and enthusiasm displayed by the crew were infectious, creating an atmosphere of pure excitement and fun.

But that's not all! The adventure featured a thrilling message in a bottle and the search for real treasure. The anticipation and suspense were palpable as we eagerly followed the clues to uncover the hidden treasure. And just when we thought the adventure couldn't get any more thrilling, a real pirate attack took place, complete with dramatic sword fights and cannon blasts. It was an adrenaline-pumping experience that left us in awe.

Literally the best experience for little ones! From check in to the very end of the trip as we were docking back to the marina. The ladies at check in were kind and pleasant and even suggested some alternatives for my daughter because I was going to buy her the package that included the pirate hat, patch, sword, etc. they told me she’d likely enjoy the parrot much more, and she did! They had yummy Pirate’s Booty for purchase and water as well! They pointed everyone to the restroom as they checked in and let us know there was no restroom aboard the boat. The kids got face painting and tattoos before boarding. Honorable mention: I love that they gave each child name tags to help remember their names which made this a more personal experience for each child. The two ladies (I think they’re twins) engaged the children so well! They even let the adults join in a few times. They were funny and very theatrical which kept the children’s attention! The two pirates, “Stinky” and “Smelly” were so entertaining and let all of the children spray them with the water cannons! We visited for my daughter’s 8th birthday and there was one other little one that was turning 3 on the boat. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to them which was so nice! The captain was also great and I believe we also had a captain in training and it was his 2nd or 3rd day on the job and he was just a great as all the others! I love that the boat kept turning so the children could spot the clues to help find the treasure! There are not very many kid friendly options for entertainment in Hilton Head, outside of miniature golf and parks. This will literally be the best $39 you’ll spend for children while visiting Hilton Head! I know that we will probably return to this in the future when we return to Hilton Head! A Great Time for Kids and Their Families

This exceeded our expectations. We signed up our 8yo grandson. We didn’t get any extras, which was good, because he didn’t want a bandana or eye patch, but for a little over the ticket price you can add on some extras. The crew started about 15 minutes early, and kids could get face painting and tattoos; they got name badges (and could add a pirate name if they liked) and then had a lesson in speaking pirate. After that we all trooped off to the ship. The kids all sat on a low bench at the bow, and there was plenty of seating, including shaded seats, for parents or grandparents. The crew was great, interacting enthusiastically with the kids, singing pirate songs and teaching them about pirate etiquette. They had to find the treasure map, then find the treasure itself, with a battle against Stinky Pete and Smelly, who tried to steal the treasure. Eventually the kids prevail, and the treasure is shared among them. The crew made sure everyone knew the rules about sharing, so each kid got a chance to aim the water cannons at Stinky Pete and Smelly. The kids were fully engaged for the full 90 minutes, and all left happy - and the crew can take all the credit for that. I highly recommend this...
