Heritage Villas — Local services in Hilton Head Island

We are currently staying in 2210 Heritage Villas and just want to express our sincere disappointment. The unit is not in good shape. I have actually stayed at nicer Holiday Inns. The air did not work when we arrived, the primary bath drain does not work, the mattresses and pillows are terrible (I had to drive to Target this morning to purchase a mattress topper for the bed), and it is just rundown. Yes, that is a literal hole in the wall. In addition, the primary bedroom does not cool down. I regret booking through Sea Pines. I should have gone with another resort or VRBO with reviews, but I've learned my lesson. We'll finish out our time here and find somewhere else to stay the next time we are in Hilton Head. It has really put a damper on our vacation. I only wanted to share our experience for future guests. You may want to update the photos so that they are more accurate and invest some money in the unit.

Do not expect Sea Pines Resort to help. They did offer to fix the air but otherwise you can barely get a response from them. Save yourself the aggravation, and book elsewhere. Even if you have to spend more money, it would...

We rented through Sea Pines. Lovely unit and renovated nicely. A few bumps along the way. Despite the other reviews bring shampoo and extra trash bags. They provide one spare.

The den rug is beautiful, but very dirty. Needs to be taken out and cleaned!

When we arrived there was a bowel movement in the master bath toilet bowel. Flushed and it was gone, but really?

We had small roaches in the upper bathroom and a few in adjacent bedroom. Called for an exterminator on Sunday. Today is Friday, nada.

The mattresses are very noisy when you get up or down. Crunchy? Perhaps waterproof sheet underneath?

The floors make a ton of noise.

Microwave is installed so high you really need a stool to operate safely. I am 5' 6".

Globe in downstairs hall is missing. Fllor lock on Sliding doors in dining room won't unlock to open. Closet door in master is off track. Random minor maintenance items. The unit needs a good walk through.

We enjoyed the location....

Great family vacation spot. Property (and villa) was clean and well maintained. Nice trails to walk/jog/bike. Owners stocked the villa with towels, toilet paper, shampoo etc. That was a pleasant surprise and we were greeted with a nice gift basket. The unit had 4 bedrooms 3 full bath and 1 half bath. A full kitchen, W/D, it really felt like home away from home. Our group was 8 adults and an infant and we had plenty of space. We were close to the pool, beach and plenty of places to eat and shop.
