The Inn at Harbour Town - Sea Pines Resort — Hotel in Hilton Head Island

The Inn & Club at Harbour Town is a new destination for us, and we'll be back. Our room is large, clean, and well appointed. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is modern with a great shower and plenty of towels and quality toiletries. ||What makes the place stand out, though, is the service. We have been here for two nights, and we haven't experienced any glitches in service. Every single employee seems to be working to make our stay excellent, both by doing their jobs well and by offering little hints and ideas that have made our stay better. ||As an example, we arrived late but were immediately greeted by the front desk staff, got a quick and clear instructions about the handful of things that couldn't wait until morning, and even got bell service despite the late hour. The front desk staff also helped us make reservations for water sports and generally gave us good information about all that there is to do here.||One convenience of staying here is the prompt, air conditioned shuttle service to all of the major activities inside the resort gates. With the heat and the scarcity of parking on the island, that perk alone is probably worth choosing the Inn. The Inn also provides bicycles, which are very much the culture of HHI.||To be honest, I love an AirBNB when we travel, but in this case we would choose the Inn again for the service and amenities. I really enjoyed all aspects of our 3 night stay @ Inn. We came to play tennis at the Sea Pines tennis center which was all of 25 yards away from the hotel entrance. Great tennis programming from social mixed doubles to weekend clinic. Hotel is serene and beautiful. The front desk was always very helpful with reservations, securing a cart ride to the marina or beach club and more. We had a slight issue with the room temperature that was immediately fixed (thanks to the gracious Todd in maintenance). Top tier housekeeping and turndown service. The pool and hot tub were quiet, clean and great temperature. The simple continental breakfast and coffee were nice for a quick bite before morning tennis. We also loved the free bikes and 2 hours of court time daily! My only negative comment was the constant buzz of the leaf blower which I guess is to be expected since the Inn sits on a golf course but could have done with not hearing that before 8AM. Upon arrival, we were treated with champagne by the front desk staff. I don't know if this was because our nephew was getting married there, or normal procedure. Thank goodness our nephew provided onsite transportation as the front desk also has to act as car/outside welcome staff, doorman, golf cart transport, housekeeping for towels for ocean and so much more. They did it kindly with a smile but I could tell they were like swans paddling madly underneath. Housekeeping left our door ajar after nightly turn down the night before we left and thankful nothing was missing. I reported this unclosed door security issue in the post stay survey and Admin never got back to me so I guess they didn't believe me or care. The pool was ok but no staff out there either. Also I wish with those good views that they would clean the outside of the rooms windows. Our was covered with cobwebs and who knows what! Loved the toiletry brand and convenient little fridge.
