REVIEW UPDATE
Decided to give it another try despite a bad experience last time.
Everything that went bad on our previous visit did not happen this time.
Great service and the food was very good and free refills on kids drinks.
Appears to be under new management as I noticed some changes in the menu and food all of which are good changes.
Glad things have changed for the better as we have always enjoyed coming here.
PREVIOUS REVIEW Last time coming to this overpriced restaurant. I've been coming here for years and it's been okay but this time was just ridiculous. Our kids get the Bluesmurf and Shirleytemple drinks and those have always come with refills but this time after my kids drank theirs and we asked for refills we were told there are no more refills. A little upset with that since that is not specified in the menu or told that when ordering I then asked for just a Sprite since that is what it is made with along with some flavouring and they wouldn't do that. I then argued that had I of just ordered regular Sprite I could have refills and they said yes even though I already did pay for a drink plus a dollar per drink for flavouring. I finally got the Sprite refills and on top of all that the food is mediocre. It's got a nice outdoor feel but the service and food is...

I suppose if you're so hungry that you can't make it to the restaurant next door, or if your shoe isn't looking too appetizing today, then this is the place for you.
The food that I had here can most generously be described as "edible".
Ordering from the "Super Salads" section of the menu might prompt one to imagine something set in front of them that didn't involve underripe, pale green romaine cores with slivers of mushy, watery tomato, three slices of surprisingly ok cucumber, and Kraft-level shredded cheese (it very well could just be Kraft), but that's what was set down on my table. Served on a plastic plate with a lining of fried food paper.
To top it all off, I made the mistake of paying $11.95 extra for "seared tuna" which sat atop the pile of discarded garden trimmings looking like an expired pork chop with barely any sear to speak of, yet was somehow cooked to a chewy, pale grey, and contained absolutely no seasoning whatsoever so that you're feeling all the luxury of eating Chicken Of The Sea directly from the can.
The appetizing pool of watery leaf soup at the bottom of the plate was a nice way to close out the meal.
The staff was friendly, which saved a 1-star rating.
Next time I will endure my hunger just a touch longer to make it to literally any...
Read moreWe were feeling hungry while on a break of our boat tour and this restaurant seemed like the perfect option. Dennis sat us, placed our order quickly and brought out drinks, which by the way, the unsweetened tea was surprisingly flavorful.
He was super friendly and asked about the blue shirts all 40 of us were wearing for our family reunion. We joked and said we would get him a shirt the next time we came.
Barely 7 minutes go by and they brought out three burgers with fries that we absolutely devoured in minutes. The curly fries were hot, fresh and crispy. The burger was cooked perfectly.
It had that classic cheeseburger taste you dream of it tasting like, most likely the cheese and charred hamburger edges combining with the toppings to have this salty/sweet candy-like flavor.
Dennis was super helpful and brought us a fresh mayo bottle for my sister, he dropped off the check without having to ask, and the entire staff just seemed like great people overall.
And the cool atmosphere with the string lights in the jungle trees was just a perfect touch. Absolute highlight of the vacation. And now our next reunion, we’ll have a shirt for our new friend, Dennis. We got you cuz....
