Let me start by saying that Nevin Smith at Planet Fitness is not just your average gym employee; he's a real-life superhero in disguise! From the moment you walk through the doors, Nevin's work ethic is so outstanding that it's like he's been genetically engineered to provide the ultimate customer experience.
Nevin has an uncanny ability to remember everyone's name. I'm convinced he has a photographic memory, as he greets each member with a warm smile and a personalized greeting. His commitment to making everyone feel welcome is unparalleled, creating an atmosphere that rivals the friendliest neighborhood barbeque.
Moreover, Nevin's attention to detail is extraordinary. The gym is always spotless, thanks to his meticulous cleaning routine. I've never seen someone take such pride in maintaining a clean and inviting environment. It's almost as if he possesses magical cleaning powers that keep the gym in a perpetual state of pristine perfection.
But here's where Nevin transcends the boundaries of ordinary customer service and enters the realm of superhero extraordinare. Rumor has it that he once saved a baby from a runaway stroller outside the gym. Everyone claims he sprinted faster than Usain Bolt, executing a flawless dive to catch the stroller just inches from disaster.
In another jaw-dropping act of heroism, Nevin reportedly took a bullet for a fellow gym-goer during a freak accident involving a misplaced water bottle and an overly enthusiastic weight lifter. Witnesses say Nevin leapt in front of the projectile with lightning speed, absorbing the impact like a real-life Captain America shield. The gym now has a plaque commemorating this valiant act, forever cementing Nevin's status as the ultimate protector of gains.
And if that wasn't enough, there are whispers that Nevin single-handedly negotiated peace in a conflict-stricken region during his lunch break. His unmatched charisma and diplomatic skills apparently brought warring nations to the negotiation table, leading to a resolution that earned him a Nobel Peace Prize nomination.
Nevin Smith is not just a gym employee; he's a force of nature, a beacon of hope, and the unsung hero we never knew we needed. Five stars are not enough to capture the magnificence of Nevin and his superhuman abilities. Planet Fitness, consider yourself blessed to have the one and only Nevin Smith in your ranks! He once fought an alligator just so I could...
Read moreI was excited when I found out one is in Hinesville
We stopped by once to check it out and make sure they had the essentials. We were greeted upon entering. They didnât have a person to give us a tour because somebody had to man the front desk at all times (is what we were told by staff girl) I mean not Chick-Fil-A service but đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸ ... she told us we could check the place out on our own. So we just walked around and checked everything out.
Couple days after checking it out we returned to sign up.
PROS:
24/7. (The only reason we didnât sign up for the CrossFit gym) This one isnt 24/7 yet but they will be soon but Iâm sure itâs due to them still being new & all. & it doesnât bother me now with the holidays coming up.
Off Post
Itâs 9/10 always clean.
They have the basic workout necessities.
Worth the price. Great for the price.
I wonât hear people sounding like they are having a hard time pooping... or doing something else đ¤
I wonât get hit in the head by a weight.
I wonât get knocked over by the guy doing backflips over his friend for Instagram.
The gyms in Hinesville are tiny, seriously like the size of a shared barracks roomđ and expensive. (I visited every Hinesville gym)
Its cut & dry. Do your workout & leave. The hydrotherapy beds, relaxation area, & free tootsie rolls are just bonusesđ
CONS:
I was disappointed to not see the stop/go light that flashed in the ab circuit room.
Side Note: If you want to throw weights, jump over your friends to show you got hops or if sound like youâve been running 5 miles at a 4 min pace while working outthis gym may not be for you đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸
TIP to save yourself from unnecessary headache: Read the rules before you sign up for something then you wonât be so upset when an establishement enforces the rules you agreed to. Glad management is upholding...
