My email from a phone call conversation.

Elizabeth, You should know about this as you were the one I was calling and sending this email. See below. I didn't book this 3 years ago. I booked it 10 months ago. Your POLICY states that you will process the final dues 14 days prior. I have a screen shot of that in case you change it while this is going on. Your first reactions to me talking was to continuously cut me off and not let me finish. Even when I asked you to let me finish you kept cutting me off. You know nothing of good customer service. You also state you can't see what your system is doing which is I'm sure just one of many lies. My brother, who is a hard working, honest and decent man (something your organization struggles with) talked to the family there at the majestic and that family (who now you're saying is probably lying too) and they said they booked that place over 3 months ago. SO....if an auto payment is suppose to be placed 14 days prior to a trip, how could your company book that cabin to someone else 3 months ago? Everyone is lying but you? All you or Melinda had to do, was be decent and say you messed up. You double booked. Your system missed something, but no. At no point, could you take any blame. Shame on you. I was glad to hear that you weren't the person I talked to on Friday, because I thought as the owner of the organization, you'd hear us out and be SOMEWHAT APOLOGETIC. I drastically overestimated your integrity. So your texts say it was rude that I hung up? Why should I stay on the phone when you wouldnt let me talk? You continued to cut me off and claim hearsay. It's obvious that you will take zero responsibility for you, your employee or SYSTEM. So, since you HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON....HERE'S YOUR RECAP. We booked and put down a down payment in January 2019 (not 3 years ago like you texted me.) This email string shows the original confirmation email from your organization. Your website says 14 days prior the final payment will go through with the card on file On the day of my trip I went to look for the cabin information that was suppose to be sent. (here is where i have some blame. I didn't look for the email 14 days ago. I just assumed in my hundres of emails that i had it. ) That's my fault. See how easy that is? Accepting responsibility for things isn't that hard and could alleviate so much. When I couldn't find the information, I called and spoke to Melinda. She told me it was my fault and when the payment didnt go through 14 days prior we lost the cabin and it got rebooked for another family. She then offered to find me another cabin with a different company and will transfer our deposit (which is nonrefundable) though I was mad, I calmed down here because I thought this was my fault and Melinda though rude, was willing to help and give us the deposit back. Which never happens (red flag here.) While on our stay at another cabin which a very nice booking company, my brother stops by the Majestic (your cabin that booked within the last 14 days because we lost it.) Very nice family there from our neck of the woods (rockwall) says they actually booked the cabin not within 14 days, but confirmed 3 months ago! I call you today (Tuesday the 26th of Nov. 2019) and you're the rude one. You failed to let me voice my frustration, concern. I wasnt even made because you weren't the one I talked to or the one that originally blamed me for this happening. But as the conversation continued, and you kept cutting me off and blaming me and the system...I knew you were not going to take any blame. no apologies for the system or your staff's handling of this incident. When you started saying hearsay on the other family, I said we are done and hung up.

All you had to was say, I can't believe that happened. We rely heavily on the system and it made a mistake. That's all I needed/wanted to hear. ...

We stayed over spring break at the Picasso inspiration. The customer service was quick to handle some our issues I will say, which I totally appreciate. However, the cabin itself is not a luxury stay by far. We rented for us three families and the pictures are def deceiving as its very small. The showers are strangely laid out, you have to walk to one side of the bathroom to turn the water on and walk back to feel the temperature. very strange. The beds were comfy! the washer is hard to get into, the lighting is dim hard to see inside and outside for grilling. No light over the kitchen sink for you to see what you are doing. We tried to cook hamburgers the grill wouldn't work, they came and swapped out the tank and something maybe from the previous renters was all over the grill and the whole thing caught fire. We had intended to grill our entire stay so that was cancelled. which we couldn't see the grill well either because the lights outside are so dim. The kitchen inside has no cleaner for cleaning countertops etc. The kitchen knives were dull and wouldn't cut. The coffee pot leaked every time we used it. There is a piece of the roof hanging by the fireplace. There was no firewood (10 sticks as advertised). The hot tub smelled ROTTEN. they came and drained it, which I'm assuming wasn't done before our arrival (which is actually a law in OK). the smell lessened but wasn't better so we still couldn't use it. it was an AWFUL smell yall and to top that off there wasn't a light that worked above the hot tub. We sat down to eat at the kitchen table and a piece of the wood fell off the table. The indoor fireplace didn't work ( which reading the book inside the cabin it typically doesn't). The outdoor fireplace only functions on a low setting so u have to sit almost in it to get warm. Also there are no extra blankets, nor throw blankets which would be a great addition especially considering the amount of people this should hold. Oh and the TVS in the bedrooms wouldn't work in the master and the guest was missing batteries for the remote. Which seems silly to complain about but, i don't typically carry batteries with me on vacation to the woods so.. Overall we were highly dis-satisfied and do not recommend. I think at one point this was a nice stay, but it is just run down. It seems like this cabin was furnished by all the leftovers from a garage sale, none of the dĂŠcor even made sense. A one star is...

Tried to book a cabin with them for mine and my husband's 6 year wedding anniversary. I understand that the prices for the rooms are under the picture however when I clicked on check availability and entered the dates that I wanted it took me to a different website to book the room where that website quoted me a cheaper price per night for the room then what it said on the pictures page. I understand that the price was on their homepage website but that does not tell me if they were running a discount or special on the room which is why I thought it was quoted at the discounted price. Was told they were going to charge my card for 602 instead of 446 which was what I was quoted. Called to get an explanation as to why I was going to be charged 602 instead of what I was quoted, only to be told that i bet your husband wants the 446 price and that its not my fault or their fault that webbooking site is quoting people wrong prices. And i havent taken the deposit off your card yet, you can cancel your reservation someone will it'll book. when asked to speak to the lady in charge of the cabins i was informed that she WILL NOT GIVE ME THE PRICE I WAS QUOTED. Apparently im the first person to complain about this. Not going to lie I have 10 years customer experience and that was by far the most unprofessional worst customer experience I've ever had in my life they basically made me feel like they didn't care if I enjoy the trip they didn't care if I enjoyed the room they just wanted their money you don't say things like that to a paying customer. I truly feel like if your not going to fix the website you book on then you need to honor the price quoted. I will never again book with them nor will I suggest my family or friends book with them. I hope others read this review and it helps them out as well. However on the bright side I ended up booking with a different company that it I booked with last time and I can say that I am by far the happiest person I could be right now and I cannot wait to spend my six year wedding anniversary with my husband at a different cabin...

This was a very nice experience. We rented the Hidden Hickory cabin and we’re pretty impressed at how spacious it is, even as a one-bedroom. Pros 1. Very clean premises and came with all the essentials for cooking. It’s clearly a well-maintained property. 2. Hot tub was well maintained and clean. 3. The decorations inside set a very relaxing environment 4. The surrounding area makes for very nice hiking. We saw a pack of deer run past, it was awesome. 5. The cabin is located close enough to the main road for easy in and out access, but still far enough away that most of the traffic noise couldn’t be heard. 6. The cabin is pretty close to most places where you’d want to visit, usually within 5-10 miles of everything 7. Management was quick to resolve issues 8. The indoor fireplace has a timer which is helpful so you don’t have to keep watch 9. The guestbook informational link provided so much good information for our stay including things to do, restaurants to visit, etc. Cons 1. I wouldn’t recommend this cabin if you have toddlers or small children as the upstairs loft area where the bed is located has open-gap railings that look really nice, but are just big enough for kiddos to slip through and fall. 2. The traffic during certain times of the day is a little off-putting; obviously not the cabin’s fault but something to be mindful of since the 259 is mostly one-lane. 3. It was a little challenging finding the cabin initially, although we came as the sun was setting which made it more difficult to see the signs. Once you find it though, it’s pretty easy to maneuver. 4. Some roads have very steep inclines that are a little challenging to ride down; like foot-firmly-on-the-brake-the-whole-way-down challenging 5. The upper windows don’t have shades which is a little startling if you have the lights on and are in the loft area at night; we’re just not used to that kind of exposure regardless of the relatively private cabin placement. All in all, we would book here again. It was pleasant and every place we visited had extremely friendly staff and fun activities.

DO NOT BOOK!!!! DO NOT BOOK!!!!! I'm writing this review to warn anyone planning to stay in the area this summer: do not book with this company on Airbnb or directly. Our group checked in around 8 PM, excited for what we thought would be a fun and relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, that quickly turned into a stressful and disappointing experience. One of our friends discovered what appeared to be a bed bug in one of the rooms. Upon closer inspection, we found multiple dead bed bugs along the bed frame. We immediately contacted both the host and Airbnb around 1 AM. With no timely response, we had no choice but to sleep sitting upright in the living room until we heard back later that morning. When the rest of our group-who had stayed in separate rooms-woke up, we found more bugs in their beds. One of our friend's infants had large, visible bites all over her neck. We sent the host ample photo evidence, only to be met with a confrontational response claiming the insects were "roaches." Let's be clear-they were not roaches. And even if they were, any kind of vermin in the beds is completely unacceptable, especially at a rate of over $2,000 for a two-night stay. The host then refused to issue a full refund for what was clearly an uninhabitable cabin. Less than 15 hours after we arrived, we packed up and left-after filing a formal complaint with Airbnb. I fully intend to pursue this matter further, as this experience was entirely unacceptable and could have been harmful to our health and safety. Oh, and we believe the owner is the moderator of the Hochatown Facebook page where you can spread awareness. I was promptly blocked when trying to notify potential visitors and later figured out the reason. I WILL make sure to escalate this as far as possible :)

We just stayed at the Love Me Smore cabin for our anniversary. The cabin was a beautiful cabin. Very spacious and romantic on the inside. But for being a romantic cabin for anniversaries, honeymoons or just a romantic intimate time away it's not very secluded. There are 3 big cabins that are very close. So there was always kids playing in creek down below or just on the other side. Which isn't a big deal to us cause we have kids also. I'm just being informative about the area. Also the curtains on the big back porch area are see through. So at night you can see everything pretty much within the cabin lol. The cabin was great, just not secluded enough for a romantic time. Also I had purchased a large bundle of firewood when I booked the cabin. It wasn't there when we got there so I had to message them about that. It was delivered the next day, but as you can see from the picture this wasn't $56 worth of wood. My opinion is just to book the cabin and don't get any of the other add ons you can purchase through the rental company. They are a rip off. You can get a bag of wood at Pruitts that's probably the same amount of wood for $15. Plus the outdoor fireplace on the back porch didn't work. Someone came to fix it but it only worked one morning. I didn't feel like calling and dealing with them again to come out. And the firepit area needs lots of work. Becareful walking around cause it's washed out bad and the ground is unstable. The cabin is located in a great spot to get back and forth to town. All in all we had a great time and would stay here again. We will recommend this cabin to others we know also.
